I think it is safe to say that anyone who knows me knows of my love of 3 things: crystals, ghosts and caves. That being said, it will come as no surprise that someone like me would want to spotlight someone like javi_haguse. Why? Because javi_haguse is not just GOOD at making caves. He is the master of all things subterranean, creating some of the most striking cave scenes that I have ever seen in LittleBigPlanet. But that's not the only thing that javi_haguse excels at. Javi is an artist, blending beautifully colored lights to bring his rocky scenes to life, with a lighting style that puts him right up there with lighting masters such as Morgana25 and Nattura. But don't just take my word for it. Put on your spelunking gear and we'll delve into the depths of javi_haguse's creative genius.

The first will hit the store July 7th, with each successive pack releasing every other following week. If we've done our math right, you can look forward to new Marvel costumes the weeks of July 7th, July 21st, August 4th, and August 18th. There's even a matching Level Kit on the way, with four Marvel-themed levels full to the brim with music, objects, materials, stickers, and even a special “Rooftop” background for you to collect. Even more details on the Level Kit are on their way next week!

Lights, Camera, Action!
Interview conducted by xkappax
Before the lynch mob is knocking at my LittleBigDoor and saying "What’s the deal, spotlighting one of your own?", I want to explain something. I wrote this interview as my very first interview. It was sort of a try-out for the spotlight team to make sure that I was actually able to do this whole writing thing. Truth told, this interview was supposed to run before Morgana’s. It was also written before Teebonesy joined our little group. My point is: Just because he’s part of the Spotlight Crew doesn’t mean that this creator doesn’t deserve one of these articles. Play any one of his levels and I think you’ll agree with me. So, that being said, I set out to find the elusive Teebonesy and see if I could work out just what made him tick.

We thought that article detailing what it was like to be there would be an interesting read for you, but of course it wouldn’t be fair for us to tell you all about how much fun we had without sharing what we’ve learned while we were at MM Towers!

The version of the game that we had access to was by no means final and the time that we had with the game was nowhere near enough to experience all it has to offer. Also, keep in mind as well that there was a fair amount of partying, sleep deprivation, giggly girlish joy, and overall awesome that may have somewhat clouded our memories, so take this list as an indication of the power of the new game and understand that it may be subject to change between now and release.
So, many thanks to everyone at Media Molecule and Sony for being such fantastic hosts. Also many thanks to all the creators at the Creator Jam, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you all it wouldn't have been possible to put together this information to share with the community without your help over the last week:
Wexfordian, StevenI, jump_button, jackofcourse, Poms, Julesyjules, Steve_big_guns, Anpostteller, rtm223, Jaeyden, FULLGORR, comphermc, JulesyJules, GruntosUK.

As many of you are aware, Media Molecule recently played host to a number of talented LittleBigPlanet creators from around the world. This event was held in order to allow the group to experience the new features LittleBigPlanet 2 brings to the table, while drumming up content to be used in press events and the like. The event, held in Mm's new Guildford studio the weekend of June 4th, was aptly dubbed the Community Game Jam 2010. I've done my best to fill this article to the veritable brim with summaries and impressions of the whole ordeal, all taken from attendees, and all put together in an attempt to accurately describe what went down. It is written from my perspective, but we have included the viewpoints of many others in the article (by way of quotes and recollections) as well. Enjoy!

poms
Passionately Driven Towards Perfection
Interview conducted by jwwphotos
I first met poms about a year ago when I got a rather nice note on a level of mine saying it was a favorite of his, as well his daughter, to play together. I was amazed, honored and totally touched to know that such an amazing and ingenious creator had such a warm heart to share that story with me. Just envisioning him as a father and excited to play LBP with his young daughter to this day makes me smile. Since then, I have been honored in play testing, critiquing and playing online with poms many times. However, it was in reading the volumes he has posted here on LBPC concerning his desire and determination for perfecting his levels, as well as achieving the best for them, that caused me to recall his first note to me. It was at that moment that I finally realized the incredible drive and passion of the one they call poms.
Poms' excellence and creative genius has landed him in the middle of controversy on several occasions. Not only from his passion and zeal in wishing to perfect his craft by revisiting and making update after update, but also simply from the content and subject matter he chooses to portray in LBP. Whether it be his jail cell escape sequences in The Bunker, the cute and controversial rocket ride adventures of 500.000.001 in Miracle of Life, the magical opening scene in Fairytale Fights, the wacky motorcycle rides through Heaven and Hell in Hell's Angels 1 and 2, or the newest cannon popping fun, Spice & Company, poms is truly one that is set on grabbing your attention.
