Alright, I've added something that makes PMing someone a bit easier. Try to send me a PM by clicking my name, then clicking "Send a private message to ConfusedCartman". A DHTML popup window will appear, allowing you to send your PM without leaving the page you're currently on. There's a few downsides - for one, in Firefox, if you open the window and close it without sending a PM, you'll have to reload the page for it to open again correctly. Second, it doesn't function correctly when viewing PMs - if you hit "Send a private message to USER" while viewing a PM they sent you (instead of clicking Reply), it will fill in your own name as the recipient instead of theirs. You guys may find it useful, though - chime in and let me know what you think.

I see... Well, I may use it, and I may not. But ah well, I could see how this may be useful to some... or maybe not... meh i'll stop :O

Doesn't bring up a pop-up for me and just goes to the normal PM page it always has
I am using Firefox...

Try it again - I slipped up when configuring the permissions and forgot to allow Donators to use the feature. Talk about irony. :p

I suppose those little flaws aren't too important :)
My only question is, does it work on ps3 browser?

Just ringing in to say that it works fine in Chrome. Nice addition, thanks CC!

Yeah that works nicely for me now, thanks CC

Also, your right about having to reload the page after doing it once using Firefox (like I am)

If you try and send a second PM to someone, it just comes up with the pop-up window and it's blank :(

But that's no real problem :)

Probably not - but, the upside is, if it doesn't work, it'll bring you to the PM page instead.

Yeah, I just tested it - a blank pop-up displays, but then it redirects you to the related PM page.

Could you possibly include this feature with view Public Profile? I find myself often clicking that to find a quick stat or two (LBE distribution, post count etc.), plus, Chrome doesn't like these links and you can't open them in a different tab, so I always have to leave the page.

thanks for the new PM system. The couple of new features are very handy. But why does the "message send to" show my own name?

I noticed something. In chrome (may be the same in other browsers), once a message is sent, and you click "Send Another", you have to re-fill the Send To: box in.
