Is there maybe a different view hidden somewhere that allows me to see all posts in all categories right away instead of clicking on each category to see whether there have been any new threads/posts?
So basically a view that displays the forum like "Today's posts" as a standard.

Personally I don't really care in which category a posts has been made and I'm too lazy to click on every category to find an interesting thread.

I think you might be talking about the new posts link on the top bar of the forum (same bar as Home, User CP, Site Guide etc). You can check out new posts since last visit, last day, week and month :).

Yeah, I know about that one. I just thought there may be a way to have that displayed automatically whenever I venture onto this site. : )

Edit: But if there isn't I guess I just have to click on that every time.

If you navigate to the site via a bookmark use the following link as the address for the bookmark:

Actually I think I might do that myself :).

Yeah I tend to flit between "new posts" and "subscribed threads" while I'm at work. Makes things very efficient

We don't currently have a "simple" layout, though, as suggested, you can simply use the New Posts link if you'd like to see the forums in a more basic way.
