When do you think you'll unlock things?

Odd title, I know.

This is basically saying, what levels do you think you'll unlock things?

Still odd?

Example - I personally think dark matter will be unlocked near the end of the game, because it's a material that will be used a lot, and it encourages people to play the game through.

Just give examples of what you think will be unlocked where, if you get me ;/?

I already saw that you start with darkmatter... for the fact that it is needed to be able to create from the very beginning of the game... i sure hope that the rocket booster is availbe fairly early too!!!

I'd expect most of the unlockables early on, with the really cool - but unnecessary ones - later on.

basic materials early but later have things like cars or some crazy contraption that would be hard to build otherwise... the walking elephant comes to mind for something later in the game that would be unlocked.

I think that all the "essential" items, materials, etc will be given fairly quick, but some pretty cool other stuff will be near the end and will take things like "best time" to get.

Well all the tuts and interviews posted indicate that specific objects like the elephant and the belly dancer etc, are unlocked upon completion of their specific level - but this might be tied into you achieving certain objectives within that level.
