View Full Version : The Tournament

Do not post in this thread unless you are Roleplaying!!!!!

Rain poured upon the grounds of the Castle Norvik. It's long abandoned walls were tattered by time, and it's once glorious towers now sat in rubble. But today, smoke rose from its long unused chimney. A robed man sat in his armchair, surrounded by Baroque furnishings. At his side was a large, Nordic man, garnished in steel armor.

"Garik, time is growing short, you must awake our guests." spoke the robed man.

"Yes Sire, I'll wake the guards!"

"Good Captain, now go. We do not have much longer."

Garik burst into a dimly lit room. "Wake up you maggots! We've got work to do!" A ruckus filled the room, as the guards scrambled to their feet and the sound of the captains orders. They were fully ready to go in matter of minutes.

The Captain lead them through the hallway, and into the dungeon. He pulled a torch from the wall, and lead them into the darkness of the dungeon. At the end of the staircase, was a dark, damp dungeon, a hallway lined with different cells. The echoes of it's dark past still rang clearly in those who could sense such things.

"You two!" Garik pointed at the two largest guards, "guard the doorway, make sure no none of the prisoners escape. The rest of you, come with me! It's time to wake up our new prisoners."

Garik unsheathed his sword, and stabbed it into the dungeon floor. Light burst into the room, seemingly from nowhere. The guards stood in awe, and Garik sheathed his sword.

Garik walked through the hallway, examining the prisoners. "Listen up! All of you! You have been invited to our tournament. Each of you will be fighting for your lives against the others. The tournament works on a points system. If you reach negative 3 points, you'll be out. Each victory gains you one point, and each loss does exactly the opposite. If you get out, may god have mercy upon your soul.

"Oh, and don't try magic here, it won't work. That is all."

Garik and his guards walked out, leaving the two the guard the entrance.

((You guys can start chatting now, but you can't break out of your cells. Oh, and this is how you go out of character. Try not to ramble on though. :)))

Astro sat back in his cell, fiddling with his Ruger-brand rifle. He was not happy. He'd been busy hunting down a corrupt business-man in Nigeria when an EMP blast knocked him out. But a tournament? Oh well. This could be fun. He knew how to kill things.

07-05-2009, 09:00 PM
Cohggus Maximius just sits on his stone bed, his eyes closed and his legs crossed. He is readying himself for the tournament.

07-05-2009, 09:01 PM
A cloaked man stood in the corner...

Or was it a man...? He had forgotten long ago...

He looked behind him... a vast collection of the strangest people possible.

He had no idea how long he was in the infernal seal... But this was his chance!

He closed his eyes, and thought to himself... Infernal Torment...

... nothing happened!

He looked about. Some of the other beings were waking up.

Suddenly, the door opened! A strange man burst in, flanked by his guards...

"Listen up! All of you! You have been invited to our tournament. Each of you will be fighting for your lives against the others. The tournament works on a points system. If you go below 3 points, you'll be out. Each victory gains you one point, and each loss does exactly the opposite. If you get out, may god have mercy upon your soul," he turned to leave, then turned his head. "Oh, and don't try magic here, it won't work. That is all."

... no magic... How humiliating... The Dark Lord of Evil being defeated, stuffed in an alternate reality for thousands of years... and now, to fight with maggots...

Oh well, he supposed... He'd play this stupid game... Just will need to make sure his imprisoner gets his ultimate "justice"...

07-05-2009, 09:07 PM
"Great. Just great," Jack thought to himself, eying the others in disgust. "First I'm 10 feet under, and now I'm stuck in this smelly old crypt." Jack stares down at his Peacemakers, still bearing the scars of bloodshed from his "last" encounter. He manages to work out a toothy grin.
"This could be worth my while."

07-05-2009, 09:59 PM
The robed man gazed at the fire before him. He was in a trance, preparing for the first match.

A great city upon a steep mountaintop, reaching to the cloud, the ruins of a civilization lost, a sunset like no other, the battle was to take place at Machu Picchu, the ruins of the great Inca Civilization.

Suddenly, a darkness engulfed Rock Sauron and John "Jack" Russell Wescott, and this place became their new reality as they slumped into unconsciousness.

A distant voice came through the darkness, "Welcome to your first match. Your goal is to throw your opponent off the edge, how you do that is up to you. You have until Daybreak. The Sun is setting, you better hurry."

The two awoke in a grassy field on the ridge, ruined homes surrounding them. They knew what they had to do.

07-05-2009, 10:26 PM
Jack stumbles back up, acknowledging the ruins in which were surrounding the both of them. He takes a look at Rock. Yeesh, a bit sore on the eyes. As he glances around, he notices the crumbling ruins around him, just waiting to topple over. He quickly grabs his Winchester and darts for cover, with his sachel at his side.

07-05-2009, 10:40 PM
Knil watched as the two combatants vanished, then sat down. His equipment clinked and clanked around. He looked at everyone else, they all looked different, definitely not from Hyrule...

07-05-2009, 10:45 PM
RockSauron looked straight across the road... and saw his combatant. Pitiful.

His enemy took a look around, and leaped behind one of the decaying houses. Rock laughed, and fired a darkness blast through the crumbling house.

07-05-2009, 10:53 PM
Jack turns around... just in time to see a giant black sphere hurling towards him at full gallop. He immediately goes prone, barely missing the blast which nicked his hat in the process. Noticing a pretty nice sized rock, he peers up and hurls the "rock" at Rock.

07-05-2009, 11:00 PM
Rock sees a rock coming his way... His quickly pulls out his blade, and slices it in two, the two pieces falling to both sides of him. He grinned, and yelled his battle cry as he rushed straight at Jack, sword in hand.

07-05-2009, 11:05 PM
Seeing his opponent screaming like an Apache "weirdo", Jack seizes the chance to take out his Winchester rifle. He aims to take the shot, dead straight between the eyes. Jack pulls the trigger, and the .30mm round bursts from the barrel, heading straight for Rock.

07-05-2009, 11:10 PM
Rock knew he had to act fast, though he was uncertain as to what magic this be...

As the metal neared him, he shielded his chest with his hand... the bullet piercing it.

His glove had a hole, and you could see black flesh from around the bullet wound. Rock could not stand to lose to this... mortal. He suddenly noticed the sun... He merely had to stall his opponent until the sun set, and then, the darkness would surely grant him victory...

Rock laughed, and jumped onto a the roof of a building... and summoned a darkness beam, and fired it at the cowboy.

07-05-2009, 11:16 PM
Molgor's fur was charcoal coloured as he sat in a shadowed corner of the dungeon. He glanced around, noting the physical attributes of each opponent he may face.

He regurgitated the torso of his last prey. He had stored it for later consumption. He began ripping chunks of red meat from the bones and induldging himself gleefully.

07-05-2009, 11:22 PM
Reloading his rifle, Jack sees the beam of darkness hurling towards him. He manages to make movement, but the blast impacts the ground right next to him, knocking him off his feet. He soars into a nearby abandoned marketplace, startled at the blast.
"Heh... I better hope night doesn't fall," Jack scoffed. He stumbles back up, noticing Rock staring him down. He positions his hands at his holsters, waiting...

07-05-2009, 11:30 PM
Hm... he could feel... torment residing from this soul... could it be...?

This man was cursed... This... was beneficial...

"Oh souls of death, devoured by night...
Ones who prematurely were greeted by the scythe...
Heed my call, for the time is nigh...
RISE FROM YOUR GRAVES, and vengeance shall be thine!"

Jack gasped... a necromancer...

He fell to his knees, as the voices of the tormented souls he killed screamed in his mind... He clutched his head as he lay in his own personal hell...

((Yeah, just to make sure we're clear, I used my necromancer powers to call the souls of Jack's victims... so now they are screaming in his head :p. Yay!))

07-05-2009, 11:52 PM
((:grr: Oohh, didn't notice that.))

"No... not again!! NOO!! NOOOO!!!!" Jack yelled in anguish as the souls dug deeper into his mind. He screamed, his own brain echoing the chant that plagued him from the start. He got to his knees, and stared up at his opponent. Jack sees the sun setting lower and lower, seeing that he's running out of time. RockSauron stares down at him, laughing diabolicly. Struggling to think straight, Jack finds that his opponent, although basking in his glory... looks considerably weaker than he first found him to be. Also, the building Rock's standing on... perfect. Struck with the shrieks of his victims, Jack stumbles backwards... right next to his sachel. Before another outburst comes, he quickly grabs the bag and throws it at the wall of the accomodation his opponent was standing on. And as Rock looks at the sachel in bewilderment, he glances back up... just in time to see Jack take the shot with his Winchester. The round makes contact with the bag, striking the bundle of T.N.T. snugged inside inside...

07-06-2009, 12:09 AM
No! He had been careless...

Rock leaped from the roof, down onto the ground... but his sword! His sword had been lost in the burning building...

"Tricky little devil..." Rock thought to himself... only to notice that Jack had his gun pointed at the back of his head.

"im... possible..." Rock stuttered...

then another attack came! The souls starting clenching at Jack's mind- in his desperation as he fell to the floor, he pulled the trigger- it went straight into rock's shoulder...

It was then that Rock noticed where they were standing... twenty feet from the cliff...

He took all of his power... and unloaded mass after mass of energy balls at his opponent...

07-06-2009, 12:49 AM
Jack squirms to his knees and as he looks up... a horde of those black thingys came at him at full force! He attempts to crawl out of the way... but it's too late. The blasts bombard the market, smashing through walls and crumbling the once-standing booths and stalls. One manages to make it's mark... straight at Jack. It hits him square in the stomach, and sends him reeling through the walls, landing him at precisely 8 feet from the edge. 8 feet... from losing. As the sun dwindles ever closer to the horizon, he sees that... his body withstood the blast. "Oh yea... that's right...":

"Mighty Living God! Here thy plea!
Banish this soul to Hell's eternity!
Let his screams be heard arcoss the moor,
That this soul shall not sleep forever more..."

That curse... that God-forsaken curse... saved him. "To never sleep..." Jack pondered, "is to never die! That's it!!" But as soon as he figured out his apparantly obvious question, another blast lands 4 feet shy of him. As he struggles to resist the screams, he peers up, suprisingly finding Rock to be... spent. Slouched over and panting, the necromancer stares wearily at Jack, as if waiting for something. The sun... the sun! That's why!! All of a sudden, as if a herd of buffalo had been set loose, he pieced together the puzzle. Dark energy, stalls, distractions, chants... RockSauron draws energy from night. As the reality that's being layed before him creeps ever closer, Jack draws out his Peacemakers, unleashing round after round of bullets at the necromancer.

07-06-2009, 02:35 AM
Cohggus sits in his cell, still in a lifeless state. Several minutes ago two other prisoners had dissapeared. He focused his mind, and locked on into the heavens, his real home. Form there he scanned all the earth, trying to lock on to the necromancers aura. Finally he finds it, high ontop of a mountain covered in ruined buildings. He can see the two prisoners fighting. He laughs as one of them is blown off a roof top.

"They call this competetion?" he says, snickering.

07-06-2009, 02:39 AM
Netic looks over from his bed at the winged creature.

"What is that thing laughing about? Who is he even talking to?"

Beginning to get restless, he chips off a small piece of stone from the wall and makes it levitate around his head in a slow, steady orbit. He lies back down, now calm, but still alert.

07-06-2009, 03:14 AM
"Maybe he's talking to himself, genius.... I think he's watching the fight" said Astro, somewhat smitten to the fact the Wizard had removed his file database accesser, his radio transceiver, and his portable television. Although that last one didn't matter, he had one implemented in his visor anyways, from which he saw the ongoing slaughter through a news broadcast.

07-06-2009, 04:16 AM
Cohggus opened his eyes to view his other competitors. So far there was a cowboy, and smelly necromancer, who were fighting. In the other cells was a hairy cannibal, some sort of star wars character, an elf, a mental case, and a lawyer. He laughed again.

"And I was thinking that I might lose! You are all just a bunch of rejects."

07-06-2009, 04:20 AM
"Stop getting cocky, Pit, you don't look so good yourself."

07-06-2009, 04:32 AM
"Both of you shut up! Yo Cohgg, who's winning?" Yelled Knil

07-06-2009, 04:35 AM
"Well, at this rate they'll both lose, they look exhausted. Unless the cowboy jumps of the cliff, he looks a bit mentally unstable."

07-06-2009, 05:53 AM
Knil looked at all of the people wasting away in their cells. He noticed his stomach start to growl. "Hey cloak dude can you get me some food i'm starving here."

07-06-2009, 06:01 AM
"They won't get you anything, Knil." Said Astro, pulling out some freeze dried ice cream from his suit's dispenser and throwing it.

07-06-2009, 06:04 AM
The ice cream landed just outside Knil's cell, just far enough away that he couldn't reach. Knil struggled to get it, everyone laughed. "You did this on purpose didn't you?!"

07-06-2009, 06:15 AM
"No, I didn't, my suit is just a bit on the fritz still. Here, have another." said the mercenary, throwing another one, trying to throw so that it landed square in the middle. It didn't and landed at nearly the same distance.

"Must be an enchantment by the old Wizard guy up in the castle." said he, nodding up. He got one more pack and opened up his visor about 1/5ths way, so that he could eat some without revealing his scarred face.

"Tough luck buddy, be glad I tried to help you in the first place."

07-06-2009, 06:27 AM
"Ugh, whatever." Knil sighed. He looked around his cell for something to do, and found a small bug crawling on the wall. "Ahh perfect target practice." He said as he pulled out his bow and shot an arrow at it. "Perfect shot." The arrow bounced off the wall the tiny bug impaled on the end. "I've still got it." Knil grinned.

07-06-2009, 06:38 AM
"Eat it then." The mercenary was not pleased with the situation... he wanted to fight.

07-06-2009, 06:43 AM
"I'd rather starve. Good thing I brought some Lon Lon milk. Why didn't I think of that before?" Knil pulled out a bottle of his favorite beverage and drank it. "Ahh, refreshing, but sitting in a cell get's really boring... Oh I know!" Knil took out his trusty old ocarina and began to play.

07-06-2009, 07:29 AM
Molgor finished picking the meat off the carcass and threw the bones out to the edge of his cell.

"How much longer do we have to wait?" growled Molgor, in a rough voice.

07-06-2009, 08:50 AM
A voice echoes loudly throughout the dungeon, seemingly from nowhere.

"Behold warriors! The Sun has set upon the battlefield, see it for yourselves!"

Mirrors appeared in each of the warriors room, reflecting the events occurring in the other world.

"You can watch the battles from these mirrors, but make sure not to break them. I don't intend to replace them. I bid you farewell... until next time."

07-06-2009, 09:41 AM
Victor, seemingly asleep from all the ruckus, finally woke up, sweating like a pig. He rose and ran towards the sink, vomiting and ruining its already destroyed state. This is how he always wakes up, and it had become a ritual for him. He washes his face and cleans the mess he made. He looks around at his cell, finding a possible way out. The bars were made of an unknown material, so Victor couldn't bend it. This was a total lockdown.

He sits down, defeated. He watches as a finely crafted mirror shows the fight taking place in the battlefield. "So this is what I'm here for.. ." Victor mumbles. He never liked fighting, but he will have to. There was no other choice. He stood up and stumbled across his cell, gripping the bars and peering outside, there were other people, all seemingly from different universes. He sees a man with funny looking ears, and watches as he gulps his entire drink down. Victor groans.

"Ugh, I really need to find food before I pass out.."

07-06-2009, 01:31 PM
Netic hears Victor's pathetic groans and smirks. He stretches out his hand towards one of the ice creams that Astro had thrown several cells down. His pupils expand to cover his eyes, making them entirely black. The ice cream floats up and through several cells, landing at Victor's feet, all the while being tracked by the tips of Netic's fingers. He puts his hand down and his eyes go back to normal. He turns in Victor's direction.

"Now quit your whining, I'm trying to sleep."

07-06-2009, 01:37 PM
Victor gladly accepts his 'kind gesture' and devours the ice creams almost immediately. "I don't know why you'd want to sleep in such a beautiful morning." Victor slyly remarks. Out of boredom, he takes several pieces of stone and starts to sculpt it with his remarkable power over the earth, he also put some in his pockets.

07-06-2009, 05:16 PM
The cowboy... was winning? Impossible!

But... night fell... Rock grinned beneath the robes as he felt his power come from the darkness...

Jack stopped, watching the hooded man become... pure evil... He knew not how, but he sensed the evil flowing from him...

Rock fired a darkness blast, but not at Jack- at his gun, which flew straight off the mountain... Jack cursed.

Rock laughed... and began chanting...

Jack gasped when he realised what Rock was trying to do, and ran straight at Rock, his knife in hand, hoping he could stop Rock before the chant was complete...

But it was too late. The souls returned, magnified by the night of which they dwell... clamping at Jack's soul... He then realised how close he stood to the edge...

Rock laughed as he threw a darkness beam at Jack...

07-06-2009, 05:46 PM
Cohggus opened his eyes and noticed a mirror lying against the stone wall. Through it he could see the battle, but it was viewing it from far away, and the mirror was old, making the entire battle slightly blurry. He grabbed the mirror and looked across to another cell. It was the small elf thing, that at this point, had no power. He pulled his arm back, then quickly through it forward, and it slipped through the bars and went flying straight for the elf's head...

07-06-2009, 05:47 PM
Out of pure disorientation, Jack dives out of the blast, his mind being hacked away by his former victims. He lands somewhere in the bushes, all the while Rock uleashing torrent after torrent of blasts. It's too late now... night has fallen upon them. Now, it's only a matter of time before Rock... wins.
"Why me?!" Jack bellowed, being hush for the fear of Rock finding him, "Of all the poor souls locked up, why'd it have to be me?!!" His mind was rasped once more from the souls, forcing him to fall to all fours. He couldn't take the pain... there's just no way this can endure any longer.
As he bends over, a peculiar looking figure dangles from his neck. A crucifix. A sign, perhaps? No... a weapon, more like. He wearily grasps the crucifix in his hand, scratching together the old prayers his mother forced him to learn when he was a kid.
"Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is wi-" The souls didn't appeal to this. They screamed even louder in his mind. He struggles to wince out the next words, even more forcefully.
"with thee. Blessed art thou amongst-" The souls now started to literally chip Jack's mind away, making him squirm in anguish. The crucifix started burning like hot iron; it had to be working.
"women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womd Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of- AAAHHHH!!!" He screamed in pure sufferage, indicating his location to Rock. Rock starts pointing his aim at the foliage before him, charging another darnkness beam. Jack clenches his teeth.
"Mother of God, pray for us sinners-" Now all souls started to scream and roar and claw at Jack, thrashing his thoughts about like a rider on a bull. This forces Jack to throw himself even deeper into the bushes. He had to keep going.
"Now, at the hour of our death... Amen." He let go of the crucifix, now leaving a smoldering imprint in his hand. As sudden as the prayer ended, all of the souls shrieked in rage and started uttering curses at the cowboy, but at the same time, slowly fading away. The fog rolled in...

07-06-2009, 06:28 PM
Pathetic... Just pathetic... Not even his god could save him now...

Rock walked over to the old cowboy, trembling on the floor, clutching his last hope in his hand... It was almost too pathetic...

Rock laughed, and quickly picked up the old man with his hands... and tossed him off the cliff...

07-06-2009, 06:34 PM
Garik burst into the dungeon, guards flanked behind him with the guests dinner in hand. The meals were served on wooden plates, and each contained a piece of cooked meat, some vegetables, and a cup of water. The guards left the meals for each prisoner, including the two currently fighting.

07-06-2009, 06:37 PM
Just finishing another glorious song out of his ocarina, Knil glances up for a second just to notice the large object hurling at him. He quickly pulls out his shield, and the mirror shatters leaving behind many glass shards upon the ground. "What the hell are you doing?" Knil yelled. "Someone take this maniac out of here!" Knil sat there staring at the heavily armored being, wishing someone would teach him a lesson...

07-06-2009, 06:46 PM
It all seemed lost to Jack... why waste time on such a powerful foe? He knew this would eventually happen. He'd lost... or so he thought. Flanked by man-made layers of terrain, Machu Picchu was literally a giant staircase. Jack landed on one of the steps below, the souls finally departing him. The fog grew thicker, and the moon grew brighter. Infuriated, Rock lunges toward Jack below, knowing his weary body is still squirming around. Hearing the necromancer yell as he plummited toward Jack, he briefly reloads his gun, waiting for Rock's ghastly figure to show up. Rock lands upon the step, the fog clouding his vision. But as soon as he turned around, he could only see a blurry figure, paired with a bright flash. Jack took the shot, aiming the bullet... right at Rock's head.

07-06-2009, 06:47 PM
"Oi, Cohggus, calm the eff down unless you want bullet straight through your head!" shouted Astro, as a small bing came from his visor:

Astro smiled as he learned everything possible about this being.

07-06-2009, 07:01 PM
Still staring down Cohggus Knil grabs his plate. He takes a bite of the meat and winces. "What kind of meat is this?" Knil said in disgust. "I'll pass on the food I just had a drink..." Knil put the plate down and flies quickly rushed to it.

07-06-2009, 08:34 PM
Molgor glanced up to see a meal in front of him. He had never had a proper meal before. Most of his food was raw. He wasn't a plant eater though so decided to leave them. Having just eaten, he stored the meat in his second stomach which does not digest the food and downed the water. He then threw his veg out of his cell into the cowboy's.

"He better appreciate that..." Molgor grumbled.

He smashed the wooden plate and made a large toothpick. He then proceeded to pick the fleshy meat out from between his jagged teeth.

07-06-2009, 08:55 PM
"Ugh, this looks disgusting." Netic said.

He took a quick look at the food, his eyes turning black again. He quickly mixed the food into a more manageable pureed mush, chopping at the meat with his mind and slicing away at the vegetables.

"Much better, this is almost bearable now." He smirked to himself, held his nose, and began eating the mixed medley before him.

Restless and nervous at the impending fight ahead of him, he began to cut and carve the wooden plate, aiming his hands at where he wanted the cuts to be made. He worked out a simple, flat sailboat with it, and laid back in the bed, determined to calm his nerves.

07-06-2009, 09:37 PM
... That... cowboy... is... alive...

Rock saw as his Peacemaker fired a bullet into his eye.

"OW! Dang cowboy..." he groaned as his eye bled... "How can an evil overlord who tormented the world for a thousand years... be equal to some loser cowboy?"

Rock burst into tears... "It's... NOT FAIR!" He stomped his foot. "I'm evil! Why can't I kill him, even with the power of the darkness, and he being dumb enough to think quoting the bible would work?! IT'S NOT FAIR!"

Jack just... stared at his evil opponent as Rock cried... but then the voices began! He fell to the ground, clutching his ears...

Rock laughed, amazed that it had worked... whatever it was he just did, he was too confused by the blinding pain.

He walked up to the trembling cowboy, as he grabbed the cowboy's two Peacemaker pistols to his side... and pointed them both at the cowboy's head. Jack, whose rifle ahd been shot off earlier into the valley, was now defenceless...

07-07-2009, 08:21 AM
Victor, took the plate given to him by the guards and ate the meat, it was disgusting and hard to chew on, but the more he ate the more chance he could defeat whatever his enemy is. As he was eating he watched as an armored person throws the mirror in his room to the guy with the funny-looking ears, while he protects himself with his shield and curses back. Victor chuckles while watching, and proceeds to finish his meal. "Now this, is entertainment."

07-07-2009, 06:21 PM
Once Jack saw the sudden reality of his own weapons pointed at him, he had to act fast. As Rock, foreign to gunplay, attempts to fire the gun without cocking back the hammer, Jack slowly moves his trembling hands toward his sword. With the necromancer looking bewildered at this "new magic", Jack unsheathes his blade and knocks the two guns out of Rock's hands, into the valley below. He then kicks Rock onto his back, blade siezed at his throat.
"En guarde."

07-07-2009, 08:06 PM
"Ha! Did you guys see that! That necro can't fire revolvers to save his life!" Said Astro with a laugh.

07-07-2009, 08:36 PM
The robed man smirked as Jack slit Rock Sauron's throat and threw him off the cliff.

"Jack wins."

Darkness overcomes the battlefield, as Jack and Rock Sauron find themselves back in their cells.

A voice rings through the dungeon, "the next fight will begin soon... enjoy your rest while you can."

07-07-2009, 08:40 PM
Rock saw that he lost... And he was like LOLWUT?

So he ripped out his own heart.

07-07-2009, 09:25 PM
Yes. He'd hacked his visor to access his database and now he had files for everyone here queued for download. Best thing is that he could put any file at top priority at any given moment, provided he was next. Currently he was downloading Knil, next the business dude... it would seem the US Government has some deal with him.

07-07-2009, 09:46 PM
Suddenly, darkness swallowed Victor Vance and Astro Simi. An image appeared on the mirror.

Astro Simi vs. Victor Vance

An asteroid field, far away from Planet Earth, that is where the contestants were to fight. The vacuum of space would kill a man in less than 30 seconds at minimum, and in addition it is freezing cold. And to top it off there is very little oxygen, and it is scatter amongst the asteriods. No man could survive there for long.

Astro and Vance found themselves in this place.

"The survivor wins."

07-07-2009, 09:49 PM
Astro pushed Victor's file to the front of the download queue and activated his jetpack... the man most probably has some environmental abilities to survive here. But guessing was weak. He had to act, quickly. He thrusted forward at the top speed offered by the solar powered jetpack, reeling back one fist, coming closer now, about to strike...

07-07-2009, 09:56 PM
Cohggus sat in his cell, yet again meditating. He was trying to find where the new fight was but he couldn't. This could only mean that they weren't fighting on earth. Space? Another planet? Cohggus did not know, and he really didn't care. He only watched the fights to learn about each person, but without heaven over looking the match, then he was blind.

He looked across to the other cell where the small elf sat. "Hm... " he thought, trying to think of something to further infuriate the elf.

"Hey! You, the elf!" he shouted

Knil looked at him with anger.

"I heard that you were going to be in this fight, but that you were too weak and small too. So they chose the lawyer instead. EVERYONE knows that lawyers are more powerful then elves, Hahahaha!"

07-07-2009, 10:02 PM
Knil sat there as he was bombarded with weak insults. "How many elves does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Too many for an elf to count! Ha!" Cohggus laughed. Knil finally had enough, he stood up and drew his sword, "You wanna take this outside?" he growled.

07-07-2009, 10:02 PM
(( Oi, Sage, no character hijacking! That's godmodding! ))

07-08-2009, 05:23 AM
"Don't get yer hopes up, elf boy." Jack comments, gnawing on the shoe-leather meat.
"Most likely, you're goin' to fight ME next."
Jack sat in his cell, watching the intergalactic battle unravel before him from the mirror. Glancing around, he eyes his opponents: a wolf-man, a green elf, some winged-creature thing, and a boy, with the space man and the business "up-tight" dueling it out in "space".
"Wow... some sort of 'freak-show' if you ask me."

07-08-2009, 08:10 AM
"You're already dead and you call us the freaks?" growled Molgor.

He put his finger in the watery blood left by the meat and started to draw a cartoon of every opponent, dying in many gory ways. However, he only let one hand show as to not give anything away about himself, but to allow them to see the drawings.

07-08-2009, 09:51 AM
Before he knew it, he was standing in mid-air.

Victor suddenly stood up and saw that he was floating on a rock, an asteroid to be exact. "This'll do, I guess." he checks his canteen if there's still water. "Good, I could use this." he says to himself.

He carefully scans the battlefield to see whoever his competitor is. "Probably that guy that gave me the ice cream," he remarks. He turns around and immediately sees the astronaut man flying towards him. Victor may be weak, but he has a good reflex. He quickly turns around and covers himself with the rocky exterior, hoping to block the damage. He then digs his feet under, getting ready to counter-attack. "C'mon, let's see your hi-tech gear in action!"

07-09-2009, 12:15 AM
The sudden appearance of rock out of the ground surprised him; he punched through it but otherwise it was enough to redirect the overral direction of the attack. Flying right through, he hit the brakes (Metaphorically of course) and turned round.

"C'mon, let's see your hi-tech gear in action!"

Well, alright. Maybe he'd want to see the suit's integrated weaponry holsters? Astro pulled out a Rocket Launcher and aimed it at him.

He fired.

((A note, by the next post the download of the file will be completed. :D))

07-09-2009, 12:40 AM
Victor effectively blocked the astroman's first strike. He quickly turned around to see what his next move was, and he, indeed, was showing his 'hi-tech gear stuff'. He kicks the earth and twists his left foot, and quickly disappears out of site as he lurched down into the underground of the asteroid. He clapped his hands to seal the entrance, and was crawling silently to listen where the astroman was..

07-09-2009, 02:01 AM
He'd dissapeared, darn it! He appears to have strong powers of envior-

A quick read through... he could control his surrounding environment, and he was frail. He needed something that could easily remove that... something that could rip right through rock.... heck ,something that could break this asteroid apart would be useful! But for now he needed to drive that lawyer to the surface.

A little bit o' charge on the Rail Gun, aaaand... FIRE!

07-09-2009, 09:07 AM
Victor could hear him talking to himself, and quickly listened. Then suddenly, a beep. He went closer to hear a little more.. "A little bit o' charge on that railgun and... FIRE!" Victor quickly moved, and sure enough, the roof above him was blasted. He jumped up and was back up again, facing the astroman head-on. He opened his canteen and splashed the water on the astroman's visor-thing and froze it, trying to break whatever advantage he had. He digs his feet again to the ground to get ready to counter-attack.

07-10-2009, 05:46 PM
Astro was deep dispair. Victor WOULDN'T DIE, and neither would he. Honestly, however, he did not understand what Victor attempted to achive with the water thing. It's frozen, indeed. However, you'd think the government would have realized there were these kinds of temperatures in space. Which they did, and the suit had a feature to defrost the suit. In the meantime, Astro activated the infared feature.

"I am SICK of playing Wack-a-Mole with you, you pathetic science project."

Upon saying this he started to fly around the 3-minvan sized asteroid, placing a small packet here and there.... just enough C4 to blow the entire thing up. He stopped floating in front of Victor, a raging expression hidden by a lifeless visor, with a small pistol sized shotgun, loaded with stun ammo, aimed at Vance's head.

"Now what happens next is up to you. You can either surrender peacefully, or you can hide, and you become space roadkill."

07-11-2009, 03:51 AM
"You're calling me the pathetic science project? Look at yourself, you freak. You call yourself human with all of that mechanical enhancements?" Victor shouts back. His visor was partially frozen, he was heating it up. This somehow stirred the astronaut, and made him start flying around the asteroid.

Victor watched helplessly as the astroman started flying and throwing these small packets around the giant rock, he knew he would try to blow it up, and the chances of surviving then would be slim. He looked around for more options while the astroman continued. A nearby asteroid was coming nearer to theirs, and if he could get some time off his enemy, he could just make a bridge and escape before it explodes. Victor decided he would try to distract the astroman so he could get to the other asteroid in time.

"Now what happens next is up to you. You can either surrender peacefully, or you can hide, and you become space roadkill."

Victor quickly made a giant rock wall between the astroman and him, he won't be able to last one shot of that shotgun-thing, he had to protect himself at all costs. He firmly kicks the rock wall and breaks a big chunk off of it, and hurls it at the astroman. The nearby asteroid was coming nearer, Victor needed to stall. He held his canteen and poured the remaining water around him to make a sort-of ice rink, maybe it could give the astroman a hard time walking, Victor didn't care, he needed all the time he could get.

07-11-2009, 05:44 AM
The successive series of events happened in a blur. A giant chuck of asteroid struck Astro's head, shattering the still melting ice and knocking him back down. Victor had thrown some frozen water around him. At this point it was not merely annoying but INSULTING to the spaceman.

Upon this sudden, maybe even over reactive, outburst of rage, Astro put his jets at full thrust and made a beeline towards the lawyer. Unfortunately, for the both or them or neither, Astro had forgotten that his suit's functions were activated by simply thinking about them. During that sudden burst of rage, a small notification had appeared at the corner of his visor.

07-11-2009, 06:37 AM
Victor panicked as the crazed man was heading right towards him at increasingly blinding speed. He quickly ran to the edge and tried desperately to form a bridge towards the incoming asteroid but he couldn't do it too fast, so he gets hit by a 250-pound flying astroman. Victor's right arm literally shattered and cracked from the impact, and Victor screamed in pain.

It was unimaginable, he won't be able to fight properly without his right arm. "AArrgh!!" it throbbed painfully as it swung side to side, the astroman was bringing him to the other asteroid. For the first time, Victor was scared, this man would kill him once they arrive. Victor started thinking of ways to defeat him, but with his right arm broken, his chances would be slim.. He checks his pockets, the rocks he got from the cell was still there, intact.

((Oh yeah, does the loser get kicked out of the RP once they go back to their cells? Or will he still be in it, but minus points or something? :O))

07-11-2009, 06:49 AM
((Oh yeah, does the loser get kicked out of the RP once they go back to their cells? Or will he still be in it, but minus points or something? :O))
((They get minus points. You start at zero, and once you reach -3 you are out.))

Cohggus sat in his cell, pondering at ways of discovering his opponents weaknesses and strengths. Then he knew it.

"Hey I'm sorry about before everyone, I just get quite... irritated. I love to move and fly, but with in this cage I can't do any of that. Maybe we could do something to pass the time. Hm... how about stories? Each of you, tell me about yourselves, the differences in all of us is outstanding."

((I'll tell my story tomorrow, gotta go to bed right now.))

07-11-2009, 06:52 AM
Astro hit the the businessman with a satisfying crack. As a smile lit up his face, and just after, he noticed the small text in the corner of his vision.

"OH SH-"

The meteor behind him exploded, sending chunks of rock flying everywhere through space. One chunky piece knocked Astro on the head at a speed recorded by the suit to be "too fast to calculate". He was slammed into the asteroid Victor had planned on getting to, unconscious for that brief second.

(( Why am I so nice :( ))

07-11-2009, 07:24 AM
Victor slammed onto the surface of the asteroid.. hard. His right arm hurt even more, this was hell. To the right a little was the astroman, unconscious. He turned his head left to see where they landed. It was another asteroid, a lot of small chunks of the destroyed rock was scattered around it. He looked up and watched as a huge piece of rock was coming closer, ever so slowly. It was huge, and it would crush both of them if he didn't get out in time, but his legs wouldn't cooperate.

Victor felt hopeless. He raised his left arm and tried to form a wall to block the meteor, but his left arm was hurting just as much as his broken one. Victor closed his eyes, and felt as a surge of adrenaline rushed down his whole body. He let out a grunt and formed a huge sort-of igloo around both of them, it was completely dark. It was as if he was closing his eyes, Victor couldn't do much now, he was too weak. He just closed his eyes and waited for the impact.

(( Epic finale? We'll see :P ))

07-11-2009, 06:48 PM

Astro looked around, trying to piece together what had happened, and then it all clicked.... Victor had saved him. He stood up within the dome, and crouched as a large impact started shattering the roof, sending sharp bits of rock flying at Victor.

Maybe his suit and the impact of the rocks would crush his ribcage, but he would live, unlike Astro, who'd thrown himself over Victor and received the full impact of the rocks. Suddenly embedded in his spine were about 5 sharp rocks. Using the last of his strength, Astro pulled one out.

"You win mate."

He cracked his visor with the spike and all went black.

07-11-2009, 07:05 PM
"Victor +1 Astro Simi -1"

The two warriors were overtaken by shadows, and taken back to their holding cells.

"Molgor. Knil. It is your time to fight."

A vision of a dark forest came to the robed man. As it manifested itself, mist fell upon the woods, large trees of hundreds of years became concrete, and the scent rotting corpses rose from depths of the swampy wood.

Molgor and Knil were swept away by darkness, and found themselves in this place of darkness. An malicious voice echoed from the depths of the forest.

"The man left alive wins. HAHAHAHAHA"

07-11-2009, 07:15 PM
"Ah the forest, otherwise known as the elves playground. Good choice my cloaked friend" Knil said as he vanished. He appeared in a very dark forest that stunk with the essence of death. Knil saw the towering beast looking for him so he took out his hookshot and shot up to the top of a very tall tree. "He'll never find me up here" Knil whispered as he stood on a large branch. He lined up his bow and arrow with Molgor's head. "Heh, this is too easy" He let the arrow go...

07-12-2009, 12:33 AM

Astro woke up screaming in his cell. He had just died. He calmed down a bit, and shouted over to the next cell.

"That was doozy, wasn't it Vance?"

07-12-2009, 12:49 AM
Suddenly, Victor was back in his cell, he quickly checked his right arm to see if it was still broken. It wasn't.

"Victor + 1, Astro - 1" Victor didn't really feel accomplished, as he was unconscious the last part of the round, and had no idea how he won. He looked around the other cells and found the astroman, a little dirty and bruised up, and shouted back "Heh, yeah, uhm.. Sorry for splashin' some water on your visor thingie.."

07-12-2009, 03:46 PM
Molgor could hear the rustling in the trees above. He quickly got on all fours and sprinted for the base of a thick oak tree. He heard a 'thwoosh' and 'thud' as something hit the tree where he had just stood.

His fur changed colour to a dark brown to blend in with this massive tree. He found a thick branch that had fallen, leaving a jagged point at one end. He scanned the dark dense canopy for his target, feeling glad that he could see in the dark. He saw something move out of the corner of his eye. He made sure it was Knil before releasing the spear-like branch with immense power.

'I hope the next round is a little less violent' he thought.

07-12-2009, 06:51 PM
Knil held his breath and stood as still as possible to stay out of sight. If that monster found him he would be impaled in a fraction of a second. He couldn't light a bomb, but wait. He put his hat on a bomb and carefully tossed it from the tree hoping Molgor would mistake it for him...

07-12-2009, 07:02 PM
To molgor it seemed as though knil exploded into flames. The light blinded him. He fell to the floor and blended in with the roots. At least Molgor knew that the forest was too damp for a fire to spread.

07-12-2009, 07:27 PM
When Molgor fell Knil knew this was his chance. He jumped from the tree unsheathed his sword and pointed it right at Molgor...

07-12-2009, 09:05 PM
((Try and be a bit more descriptive... like how you managed to see me when I am camoflauged and how you released the bomb at the last second so I didn't notice the switch... O_o... It's pretty hard to RP when you can't tell how things are happening.))

Molgor's senses slowly returned. First was his hearing. He heard a dull thud as something landed near him and the scrape of metal. He could tell Knil had unsheathed his sword and had somehow found him. Next was his sight. He saw the elf's feet speeding towards him. He managed to push himself back just inches, but it was enough. The sword plummeted into the earth where his head was just moments before. Molgor was fully alert now.

He pushed himself off the ground and into the air using his hind legs and extended his claws to full length. He bore down on his target who had a terrified look on his face as he struggled to pull his sword out of the ground.

'Got him already' thought Molgor.

((CODE---- Please can you update my biography and show my weaknesses which were posted right after my first post in the original thread. I don't think it is fair not showing weaknesses if others have.))

07-13-2009, 04:36 AM
((Done Moley))

The robed mans quarters were quiet in spite of the unfolding events. Night had fallen upon the castle, and the robed man sat their quietly, gazing into the fire. Suddenly, a small imp burst forth from the flames, smirking as he bowed before the robed man. "Master says the entertainment has been splendid so far." spoke the imp with a devilish laugh, "but he recommends you spice up the drama, lest he get bored..."

"As long as he stays by his original promise, I'll be happy to allow some drama to ensue." said the robed man with a cackle.

"Very well, I shall leave then."

With that, the imp hopped into the fireplace, disappearing in a burst of flame.

07-13-2009, 04:54 AM
((Sorry. Kind of forgot your post whilst writing mine. I'll try and wake up a bit.))
Struggling to pull his sword out of the ground he noticed the large being flying towards him. He couldn't get his sword out of the ground. "******!" Knil yelled as he let the sword go and left it in the ground...

07-13-2009, 08:44 AM
The elf suddenly shot away into the night. Molgor missed by just inches, slicing the air where Knil's throat should have been. He tucked his head down to his chest and did a full roll, pushing off the ground at the last second to grab onto a thick branch high up in the tree. If not for his fur he would have looked like a silhouette against the moon.

The sky suddenly turned grey and rain started gushing down from above. He could hear the rumble of thunder in the distance.

'This will show him.' he thought.

07-13-2009, 06:07 PM
Without his sword Knil was almost defenseless. And to make it worse it started to rain. He took out his hookshot again and shot up to another tree. He waited in the tree with his bow ready to fire...

07-14-2009, 10:26 AM
((I wanted to make my last post longer but I couldn't fit any more on my PSP. :( ))

Molgor swung up onto the thick branch. It creaked a little under his weight, but the noise was nothing compared to the thunder, now booming around the sky above him and echoing around the forest. The rain was torrential now and the canopy gave very little cover.

The rain was like a veil, shielding his opponent. So now the pair could neither see nor hear eachother. Molgor decided it was time to follow his nose. It had never let him down before.

The hunt is on...

07-14-2009, 05:36 PM
Knil couldn't see anything in this thick blanket of rain. He knew Molgor was hunting for him, so he had to sneak. Lightning struck and hit a tree, the burning tree fell to the ground. Providing light for a minimal amount of time until the rain put it out. "If this could keep happening maybe I could find Molgor" Knil thought.
The lightning was getting closer to the tree Knil was in. He noticed it and quickly jumped out of his tree before it was struck by lightning. Knil was now on the ground, "No sword, and I doubt any of my other stuff will work in this rain. I am completely defenseless except for my shield." Knil whispered to himself. He sat on the ground sheltered by a tree, waiting for Molgor to find him...

07-14-2009, 09:12 PM
((You put Link instead of Knil. :p ))

Molgor kept catching the whif of his prey but the smell of burning wood kept letting it escape. He headed in the direction of the smell. Climbing over masses of roots and fallen branches.

A tree was struck by a strike of lightning. The resulting crack of the tumbling tree sent a boom out around the forest. As the light from the fire dimmed down to a glowing ember, Molgor saw a bright green up against the base of a large oak. He knew that his fur would render him almost invisible to any watching eyes. He crept around to behind the tree, although he could have been as careless as he liked as the rain would have drowned out any noise he made. He climbed the tree to a branch above the elf's head and dived down, claws fully extended, towards Knil's skull.

'PWNED' he thought.

07-15-2009, 05:45 AM
Knil sat there, worried Molgor was going to pop out of nowhere. And he did. Molgor came crashing down on Knil crushing nearly every bone in his body, killing Knil...

07-15-2009, 06:25 AM
"Well that's a nice little mess you made Molgor."

Shadows overtook the elf and the beast, and they both awoke in their cells.

"Link Knil -1, Molgor +1

Those of you who have naught yet to go, prepare yourselves. That is all."

07-15-2009, 06:27 AM
Knil feeling like he had just been born, stood up. "That was a pretty rough game, but good job..." Knil said as he sat back down in his cage, and began to play his ocarina...

07-15-2009, 06:43 AM
Cohggus watched as the two fighters reappeared in their cells. Then a voice boomed overhead telling those who hadn't fought to get ready. Cohggus stood up, stretching out his massive wings. Then he turned to face the back of his cell, and 'released' some of his bodily fluids. Zipping up his FLY OF GODS, he turned around, and then layed down on the ground, to push himself back up, then back down. He was doing push-ups, readying himself physically for the fight. After 10 minutes of that he did some sit-ups, and after another 10 minutes he starting doing jumping jacks. After he had finished all this, he sat back down, and started to meditate. He didn't even break a sweat.

Then he looked up. "Get ready, I may not be the same until after the fight."

He looked back down, and slowly his suit started to glow a bright white, then it faded away, revealing red glowing veins pulsing around the suit.

Then he looked back up. "What are you looking at!" he shouted at his fellow fighters.

07-15-2009, 06:52 AM
Shadows overtook Cohggus and Netic.

A vision comes into being. A labyrinth build atop a hill, in it's midst a great castle, somewhere inside, dwell the minotaur, whom wields the power of a demi-god and a great battle axe that weighs 300 lbs.

Cohggus Maximus II and Netic found themselves in this terrible place, both shadowed by it's immense walls, alone and lost amongst it's immensity.

A voice echoed between it's walls, "The one to kill the minotaur wins, but be warned. He has power akin to that of a demi-god. Muahahahaha~"

The laugh faded into the shadows of the labyrinth, and the two warriors began their journey into it's darkness.

07-15-2009, 09:01 AM
Molgor returned to his corner and said, "Good game."

He then watched some guy excercise and whatched them dissapear.

07-15-2009, 09:56 AM
Victor sat back and watched as the beast crushed defenseless Knil, and were instantly teleported. The winged-man-freak-thing was up next, as well as that guy who gave him the ice cream. Victor secretly rooted for Netic, but knew that it was for naught. The angel man would put up a really good fight.

((P.S. Who will control the minotaur? :O))

07-15-2009, 10:11 AM
((Code I guess)) ((In the labyrinth there are traps and stuff right? and smaller enemies? I think that would be pretty cool.))

07-15-2009, 01:43 PM
Netic looked around at the stone maze before him. He cracked his neck and knuckles and closed his eyes. Taking a deep breath, he said, "Okay, let's do this."

Off in the distance, he could hear the beast stomping away. "I'm not going to get anything done from down here." With a little focus and jet black eyes, he lifted himself above the battlefield, and began walking along the jagged top of the twisting and turning stone paths.

Looking out at his surroundings, he thought, "This place is massive, this could take a while. I'll probably be seeing that winged thing soon enough though."

07-15-2009, 05:12 PM
Cohggus opened his eyes to find himself in between several stone walls. He was supposed to be in some sort of maze. Cohggus loved mazes. He stood and looked straight into the air. His wings swung out and within a blink of an eye, he shot into the sky, flying higher and higher until he reached the clouds. Then he dove down and started to search for the minotaur. As he did he could see the other contestant walking on top of the maze.

"I guess I was right! Hahaha..."

07-15-2009, 06:03 PM
Watching that elf getting pancaked by the wolf-man was horrible.
"Yeesh, at least I won't have to clean that up." Jack yawned and layed back on the ground, watching the angel guy and the kid get whisped away in darkness. He glimpses at the mirror, showcasing the fabled Labrynth. The mirror also displays a brief image of the Minotaur himself, wielding his great axe.
"Good luck tryin' to kill that."

07-15-2009, 08:32 PM
((Code I guess)) ((In the labyrinth there are traps and stuff right? and smaller enemies? I think that would be pretty cool.))

Two dozen harpies came screeching through the air at the contests. They swarmed over Cohggus and then several to Netic. Their claws could tear through any man, and their screams were deafening. Cohggus and Netic would die if they could not kill or escape the harpies.

07-16-2009, 12:44 AM
As Cohggus flew he could hear a screaming sort of noise. It couldn't be the other contestant, but it didn't sound human either. Before he knew it, several large feminine figures, each with a pair of wings like his, except theres weren't as AWESOME. He laughed, and stopped in midair, almost hovering in place. He reached behind him and took out his massive bow, loading it with 3 arrows, their tips ignited. He pulled the arrows back and aimed it towards one of the harpies, then he let go. The arrows zoomed through the air at incredible speeds, hurdling towards the head harpie.

The first arrow pierced its left wing, the second piercing its right, and the third, went right through its eye, instantly killing the creature. Cohggus watched as it corpse toppled head over heels, down into the maze. Then he looked back at the other harpie, he counted about 11 other harpies flying towards him, screeching. Most of them were in a large group, so he knew just what to do. He grabbed a small glowing sphere off of his belt, its outside was transparent, showing a moving object inside. He squeezed it, until it started to make a strange noise, and then he threw it at the group of harpies.

The sphere stopped in mid-air, just in front of the harpies, and once it was inside the majority of them, it shrunk and disappeared, to quickly reappear, and create a massive explosion either killing, burning, or just knocking the harpies of course. Once the explosion had cleared, he could clearly see 6 harpies left, except one was on fire, and soon fell do its death.

Cohggus readied himself, and took out both of his double-ended swords. They glowed with an intense flair, just like that of his suit. He then started to glide towards to harpies, quickly gaining speed, he put both swords pointing out to the sides, and zoomed by the group, just before you touched them, he tucked in his wings, and let his swords slice through several harpies. Once he was out of the group he quickly turned to face his damage. 3 harpies fell, 2 had massive cuts along their bodies, and the other had lost a wing.

The remaining 2 harpies slowly turned around, and started to fly towards him, screaming. Cohggus again started flying faster and faster, until they met up, he went straight into ones face, but before contact, he flipped in the air, landing on its back, to steady himself he stabbed his swords into it's wings. It screamed a painful scream, and tried to escape his grasp, but now he had control of its wings.

He turned the creature around to face the other. They both were going at incredible speeds, heading straight at each other. Cohggus smiled, and then let go of the creature, ripping his swords out of its wings, then quickly jumping off of it he looked down to see both creatures smash into each other, and instantly going limp, falling back down to the ground. Cohggus hovered in mid-air, wiping his swords clean.

Then he started to glide back down to the maze.

"Is that the best you can do?" He asked, smirking.

"Holy smokes!!" Jack hollered, waking the other contestants, "Did y'all see what that angel guy just did?! He completely annihilated twelve bird... lady... things. Unbelievable!!"
Clearly, Jack was intruiged.

Netic watched as his opponent made minced meat out of the harpies. "Classy", he said.

With harpies rocketing toward him, Netic knew what he had to do. He would take a trick he used to perform on the street, and make it deadly. He kicked a section of the stone as hard as he could, breaking off several jagged, football-sized chunks. He began to make them orbit around him at increasing speeds.

"This will put my old jugging act to shame", he thought to himself, smirking as he did so.

With eyes as black as night, the deadly stones swirled around Netic faster and faster, causing his hair and clothes to blow back and forth from the sheer speed. They became a blur, a near forcefield around Netic's upper body. The harpies couldn't possibly slow down in time to avoid this. A first harpy flew straight into the swirling rock, instantly being decapitated, and spraying a bloody mess all over Netic's clothing. (1) He didn't mind, his trance-like state prevented him from noticing frivolous details as such. The second harpy saw the mass of rocks, but wasn't able to slow in time, and lost its front claws and legs to the jagged edges. It screamed even louder in immense pain, but Netic wasn't listening, he had blocked out everything but the rhythmic sound of the rocks orbiting around him at hundreds of miles an hour. Time slowed for him, he was relaxed. It seemed he lived his life most in times of...death.

He knew the harpy was not dead, so he quickly kicked off another chunk of the crumbling and weakened stone and, while still performing his deadly juggling feat, sharpened it to a point. He stopped the rocks in their places momentarily and outstretched his arm in the harpy's direction. The sharpened rock at his feet launched forward and straight through the harpy's skull. (2)

"Two down", he thought, in his nearly out of body state.

The rocks resumed their motion as 3 more harpies flew down onto him. A fourth crashed into the rocks from behind Netic, blending itself instantly and coating his back with blood. (3) This latest harpy kamikaze turned the rocks to dust. Without time to kick out more stone, he quickly grasped the claws from his most recent kill and detached them from their victim's hand. Netic took two these tiny daggers and quickly sliced open the neck and stomach of the closest harpy. The razor sharp claws sliced through the harpy like a hot knife through butter, spilling blood and entrails all over the ground below. (4)

The second harpy saw this and lunged at Netic, filled with rage at watching the death of a fellow creature. Netic dropped the claws so he could focus on this nearest harpy, and his next victim. He stretched out his hand in this harpy's direction and clenched his fist. The harpy stopped in it's tracks. Netic had grabbed it by the wings and was now attempting to rip them off. He grunted a bit, his face contorting in anger and under the stress. The wings were too firmly attached to the harpy's body, and Netic wasn't strong enough to rip them off their sockets. They snapped upward 45 degrees in a flash, and the harpy fell to the ground screaming in pain and was knocked unconscious on impact with the solid ground. This wasn't enough for Netic though, he had a newfound thirst for blood. He cried out in rage and knocked a wall of the labyrinth down onto the harpy, completely destroying it's body. (5)

The final harpy of this swarm came at him, but stopped a few feet in front of him and began to circle around him, faster and faster. He smirked again, "This harpy thinks it can outsmart me? Pathetic." On uttering this last word, he took off his sweatshirt, leaving him in a plain white T-Shirt. He flung the sweatshirt into the air and stretched out his hand towards it. He saw the harpy draw closer and, with one swift flick, put the sweatshirt onto the harpy. Smiling at the clearly odd sight, Netic watched as the harpy struggled to flap its wings from under the sweatshirt. It managed to tear out chunks of it with its deadly claws, but it couldn't remove it before it hit the ground. Hardly phased, it continued to fight its way out of the sweatshirt from the soil. The ripping noise angered Netic, and after staring at the harpy for a second, he reached toward the drawstrings on the sweatshirt, pointing his index finger at them, quickly pulled them out from the holes in the sweatshirt, and tightly wrapping them around the harpy's neck. It was dead within seconds. (6)

Another half dozen harpies rocketed toward Netic. He was growing frustrated, and was tired of all this interference. He outstretched his arm once more and pointed his finger, cutting out a 250 pound chunk of rock from a nearby stone wall. Concentrating all of his effort, he threw the stone, killing two of the six harpies on impact, and tearing off the wing of another. (7 & 8)

The wounded harpy shrieked out in pain as had the others while awkwardly trying to fly with only one wing, but only for a split second. Netic had already split the rock into two pieces and closed them both around the harpy, crushing its pitiful body between the stone with a satisfying crunching sound. (9)

"Only three left", he thought, "might as well make this interesting."

With that, he cut out a circular platform of stone just large enough for him to stand on. He stepped onto it, and began moving toward the three remaining harpies. Netic knew that he could have just lifted his body into the air, but he was feeling particularly artsy at this moment in time, and wanted to end this first bloodbath with a bang. Mere feet from the final harpies, he knew that he was being reckless, but he didn't care. It wasn't very often he was able to use his powers to nearly their fullest extent. It felt good, he was relishing it all.

He looked these harpies in the eye, one by one. It seemed as though time had stood still. The harpies must have known their imminent demise, because they paused for a second, stuck by Netic's gaze. He focused all of his energy at the closest one to him. He felt its body with his mind, it's organs beating inside its fragile but deadly body. He grasped the being's carefully and rhythmically beating heart with his mind, and with a quick grunt, tore it out. (10) He quickly did the same for the next harpy (11), but wished to try something new for the last one. He took another long gaze at it, staring into it's demonic and devilishly glowing eyes. He wondered what was going through its mind, but quickly realized that nothing would be, soon enough. He tore the brain straight out of the harpy's skull, (12) lifting it straight up and throwing it at Cohggus's feet, as a display of bravado. The harpy had died so quickly it hadn't even changed it's facial expression, which still looked quizzically at Netic, albeit without a cranial cavity.

Unphased, Netic returned to his spot on top of the stone wall. He brushed off some of the excess blood and retrieved his torn up sweatshirt. He put it back on and smiled to himself, it was nice and warm now.

"I really am quite sadistic."

He again cracked his knuckles and neck in his idiosyncratic way and turned to survey the battlefield once again.

07-16-2009, 06:51 AM
Cohggus passed over the other contestant again, watching him rip a harpies brain out. He laughed at the sight, and stopped. He grabbed behind and got his bow. Then he took out an arrow, and one of his spheres. He shoved the sphere onto the tip of the arrow and loaded it into the bow. He then put it in the bow and pulled it back, aiming right for the man.

"No competitors equals a win for me!"

Then he let go of the string, and the arrow flew through the air, traveling right for the mans face.

((We should tone down the violence a bit. You can be rated E while remaining a good RPer))
The Minotaur snorted, marching along through the labyrinth. A loud screech echoed in his ears. He braced his ears, and became enraged by the sound. He turned towards the source of the noise, and prepared to charge. With a large snort he blasted through several walls, leaving nothing but ruble behind him. The screeching was replaced by cries of anguish, and the minotaur took a look into the sky to caught a glimpse of a boy battling the harpies. The minotaur gave a loud roar, heaving is battle axe, he toppled the wall upon which the boy was standing.

((Don't kill the minotaur right away, treat me like a player))

07-16-2009, 12:46 PM
((Sorry about the violence thing, I wanted to emphasize Netic's character.))

Netic was calmed now, his excessive use of his power put him at ease. Suddenly, his mind grasped something in the air around him. "This is too small to be a harpy," he thought. Before he had time to destroy it though, a great tremor rolled through the ground below him, and the stone he was standing on crumbled. He plummeted toward the ground, he had lost his focus at the hands of two unseen dangers. His fall had caused the projectile to go harmlessly over his head and explode several yards away, but he was still falling into the darkness of the labyrinth. He closed his eyes and regained composure, lifting his body from the ground, but not soon enough. He had slowed his body enough to avoid damage, but now he hit the ground with a light thud sound.

He brushed himself off, and checked for any wounds or breaks. "Don't worry about it, wimp," he said to himself, "you have much bigger things to worry about right now." He looked up and, using the minimal amounts of light shining down on them, formed an outline of a great beast.

He looked up at the beast before him, snickering once again. "****, you are one ugly looking son-of-a-gun. No wonder you're so angry," and then, shouting to Cohggus, "Hey, angel guy, when you can take a second off from your busy schedule of trying to kill me, you should look at this thing, or better yet, you could come down here and help me fight it."

07-16-2009, 07:20 PM
The minotaur wasted no time after the man fell. It gave a loud roar as it heaved it's large battle axe over it's head, aiming for Netic.

07-16-2009, 07:32 PM
"Hm..." slowly Cohggus head started to ease, and his glowing veins faded into nothing. He was now his other personality. "I guess I will... Hahaha!"

With that, he swooped down to the minotaur who was now moments away from crushing the contestant. Cohggus pulled out his swords, that were now glowing a different color than before. He came down right onto the minotaurs head where he landed with a thump. Then, before the minotaur could react, slashed the top of its skull, and jumped off, swords aimed right for the large axes handle.

07-16-2009, 07:55 PM
"That's just going to **** it off idiot," Netic yelled at Cohggus. Netic obviously didn't think too much of this angel-like creature.

He looked up at Cohggus and saw he was heading straight for the axe of the mighty beast. "That's more like it, but I'm one step ahead of you." Putting on his overconfident smirk once again, Netic aimed his hand at the area of the axe where the handle met the massive metal blade. With a quick flick of his wrist, the blade fell to the ground with a loud metallic clang, severed from the now splintered wooden handle.

"Let's see how you fight without your big axe!" Netic taunted.

He was enjoying this. This wasn't life or death for him now, it was sport. He knew that the monster could kill him with one swipe of it's massive clawed hands, but it didn't matter to him. This was fun.

Netic knew what to do next. He grabbed the minotaur's horns with his mind and pulled. Nothing happened. He had made the same mistake that he had made with the harpies. The horns were firmly planted into the minotaur's skull, Netic couldn't rip them out. Angered and grunting, Netic used his mind to push the minotaur back by it's horns, rather than break them. The minotaur stumbled a few steps, shaking the ground at every impact. It roared loudly, clearly angered.

07-17-2009, 03:37 AM
The minotaur gave a loud roar, and stomped into the ground, cracking it. Enraged, it began another charge at Netic, but with his psychic grip on it's horns it crashed into the wall of the labyrinth, smashing it to rubble, but cracking it's left horn. The minotaur took another charge at Netic, it's arms outreached in an attempt to grab him.

07-17-2009, 07:18 AM
Cohggus flew back into the sky, and looked down. He saw the great beast smash into a wall, cracking its horn near the base. This was perfect.

He quickly took out another sphere, and place it on an arrow, then loaded that onto his bow. He pulled back the string, and let the arrow go flying. It went perfectly straight and landed right where he wanted it to go; the crack on the horn. On impact the sphere exploded, knocking the creature over to the opposite wall, and breaking the horn off. The creature was stunned by the impact. The horn landed right infront of the other man. Its tip was sharp, and it gave Cohggus and idea.

"Hey, use your telekinesis and throw that thing into it's leg! That'll slow it down!"

07-17-2009, 12:18 PM
"I don't take orders from anyone, especially fairies!" yelled Netic. Having put Cohggus in his place, he reached out his fist towards the horn and swept his arm upwards, then opening his fist. With this final motion, the horn flew up straight into the left eye of the quickly approaching beast. The beast stopped, obviously shocked and confused. Without any hesitation, Netic drew back his arm and thrust it forward again, causing the horn to sail into the beast's right eye, completely blinding it. He then lifted his body up onto the closest standing wall, to watch the beast in it's blind rage.

07-17-2009, 07:08 PM
"Fairy." After that word Cohggus' suit became covered in the red veins, which slowly started to glow a dark red. But then it went further. His anger was becoming more than normal. Slowly the feathers fell off his wings, to reveal bone. These skeletal wings started to change too; they started to catch fire, the fire slowly turning into a new pair of wings. The veins that covered the suit had expanded, now covering the entire suit. His skin turned dark grey, and his veins pulsed. And then his visor started to retract into his helmet, and it revealed his eyes. They looked like light bulbs, glowing so brightly. His frown turned into a wicked smile.

"I thought we could be friends, I thought we could work together, but it seems you were too stubborn." He said in a booming voice

With that Cohggus swooped down and landed on the horn that now stuck from the Minotaurs face. It was shaking it's head all over the place, but Cohggus managed to steady himself.

"Good fight, my friend, too bad you had to lose!" as he finished the sentence he dropped off of the horn, but placed his feet on the horns tip. His body was now horizontal, but his wings kept him up. Then, he slowly crouched down, and his wings went right above his head, to come right back down with all their might, and at the same time he pushed, and was launched off of the horn.

He slammed into the wall behind him but quickly got up, staring into the minotaurs face. It was lying on the ground, the horn was now implanted in his skull. It was dead.

Cohggus brushed himself off, and slowly the red light faded from his suit, his wings re-grew their feathers, and his visor came down, hiding his eyes.

"Good game."

((BTW, the monster I turned into had nothing to do with my power, just my appearance changed, my power was always in me. BSP angered me and turned me into the demon.))

07-17-2009, 07:18 PM
((Good game))

Darkness engulfed the warriors. "Cohggus +1, Netic -1"

As the darkness cleared, the two found themselves once again in confinement.

Meanwhile, the robed man sat in his room. His dark gaze, veiled by his hood, pierced through the flames. "Soon... one of the warriors must fall. It is he who will faced the fate of those who were destined to come here!" He said under his breath, with a soft cackle.

07-17-2009, 08:54 PM
"I thought I was the crazy one, but we have birdman over here freaking out because I called him a fairy. Pathetic."

Netic was angry, he could have taken down that beast just as easily, but he was too busy toying with it. He cracked his neck and his knuckles once again, sitting on his bed and staring at the wall.

07-18-2009, 01:13 AM
Aztro was impressed not as much with Cogghus as he was with Nectic. That harpy massacre left him impressed. He was powerful AND classy. He liked people like that. Too bad they often did not last long. And that was a definite kill steal on Cogghus's part. Troll.

07-18-2009, 01:17 AM
"Serves him right for gloating and showing off," growled Molgor, "always finish your opponent as quickly and effiviently as possible."

07-18-2009, 01:51 AM
Victor watched as Cog finished off the Minotaur. He was impressed. "I'd hate to fight that guy, he'd crush me." he said to himself. Netic was pretty good in the battlefield too, how he defeated those flying birdwomen creature things. Victor walked over to the sink and washed his face, and lied down his bed.

07-18-2009, 02:02 AM
Netic's blood was boiling, he was still on a "high" from his recent harpy massacre. He may have looked composed on the outside, but on the inside, awakened within him was a primal instinct. He couldn't hold it in any longer, he needed to unleash some of this pent up anger and raw power.

His eyes grew jet black again, he felt the intensity of it throughout his body, pulsing in his veins. He wrapped his mind and all his energy around his tightly clenched hands, standing up quickly and facing at the back wall. Without any other warning, he started striking vigorously at the wall, chipping out massive chunks of stone.

He knew the wall probably went on forever, but he wasn't trying to escape. He kept swinging at the wall, using his arms to fling his fists repeatedly at the wall, but absorbing the blows with his power. His knuckles weren't even touching the walls, there was almost an entire inch of invisible energy between them. He struck the wall a total of almost 50 times, and hundreds, if not thousands of pounds of smashed rock laid at his feet.

He laid back down on his bed. He cracked his neck and then his knuckles yet again, as he always did. He smiled to himself, and drifted off to sleep.

07-18-2009, 02:49 AM
Victor watched as Cog finished off the Minotaur. He was impressed. "I'd hate to fight that guy, he'd crush me." he said to himself. Netic was pretty good in the battlefield too, how he defeated those flying birdwomen creature things. Victor walked over to the sink and washed his face, he pondered at what the robed man said..

"One must fall.."

(( He didn't say that aloud 0_o ))

Astro dozed off while Netic unleashed his rage.... it was actually quite soothing once you lowered the volume... the last thing he heard before sleep was a beep.

07-18-2009, 02:52 AM
(( He didn't say that aloud 0_o ))

((Oops, fail for me :grr: edited my post)

07-18-2009, 07:15 AM
Jack surveyed the room once more. Things sure have changed since the first fround. The kid has some sort of "blood-thirst" now, the angel weirdo can turn into a demon, elf-boy was flattened like a pancake by the wolf-guy, the lawyer got lucky and the space-man killed himself for some sake of "self-righteousness". He looked down at his side, staring at the same sword that carried him to victory. The hilt was unphased, but the blade... it still beared the blood of it's last victim. Black stains covered the tip of the sword, with it's evil contents still inside. Jack stared at the stain, but the longer he looked... the louder the voices in his head got. As sudden as the sword drew his attention, he glanced away from the blade, catching his breath. He then sheathed his sword, with the deadly ooze still attached to the tip. It started to infect the sheath, making it a dark, malevolent black. Watching this transformation unfold made Jack... smile. He rested it with the rest of his weapons, knowing that this may come to some use in the future.

07-18-2009, 07:30 AM
((I'm gonna step things up a bit))

Molgor, Astro Simi, and Jack were suddenly and forcefully overtaken by darkness. A vision began to form in the unconcious, slowly seaping through into their conscious thought. A tower, surrounded by the bones, reaping of the fumes of the dead. Inhabited by beings of evil. Above it slowly hovered a beast of great might, a dragon, forever guarding it's walls from invaders. The earth around it was scorched by fire. A voice came to the warriors. "Inside this tower lives a sorcerer of great power. His prized possession, a crystal ball of great power. Your goal is to steal that. Kill him if you must, whatever you can do to get it, but beware the dragon. It's eyes can pierce the toughest of soul, and it's breath of fire kill the finest of men. Now go, quickly"

The warriors awoke a the base of the tower. Before them lie the drawbridge, shut, and the water murky. This was to be their first obstacle.

07-18-2009, 07:44 AM
* WAKE UP! *

Ugh, he'd been in the middle of a good dream. Looking around, he saw the zombie cowboy and the Wookie standing next to him. Kill the dragon, kill the magician, have a three way, win, and get the orb. Easy.

He turned to Jack, who'd he seen manage a rifle before, with great accuracy. Taking out his rail gun, Aztro took a potshot at the flying dragon, hitting his stomach. He simply got very very angry and started to swoop down.

Aztro turned to Jack and handed him the rail gun and a tripod.
"Provide cover fire, I'll take him head on, set up the tripod if you can't carry it, I doubt it though." said the astronaut, activating his jetpack and taking out his dual SMGs...

07-18-2009, 10:27 AM
"Why is there always fire?" growled Molgor.

He saw that the other two were working on the dragon, so he went for the drawbridge. He looked down into the water, but it was too murky to see past the scummy surface. He got a skull off of one of the many skeletons decaying around him. He through it out into the middle of the lake and it landed with a satisfying plop. Nothing happened for a few seconds and then a massive torrent of water shot up into the air where the skull had entered the moat.

'Hmm... this could be more tricky than I thought.'

"Hey guys! Any thought's on this!?" He shouted in a gruff voice and hurled another bone into the lake.

07-18-2009, 08:36 PM
"Huh? What are-"
Caught off guard by the rail-gun-thing, Jack gets knocked down by the sudden toss of the heavy machinery. Heaving the weapon off his chest, he looks up to see the space man rocket towards the dragon and the wolf-guy throwing random bones into the moat. He looks up... to see the dragon heading straight towards him and the space man.
"Just great..." Jack grunted, grabbing the railgun and aiming for the dragon's wing. The round blasts out of the barrel, knocking Jack onto his back. It shreds through the wing tissue... but this infuriates the dragon even more. Yet now, the scaly beast is crippled, making it harder for him to fly. But that didn't matter. It's still angry. And it's still coming towards him. He dashes towards a nearby rock, hoping that the space man can distract the beast.

07-19-2009, 05:15 AM
Astro fired the SMGs at the beast, who took a seemingly painful U-turn after the injury it took to the wing. It still flew fast however, and Aztro took it on several loops around the tower to wear it down. The beast, now tired, was at half speed. Looking behind, he fired his guns at close range, hitting the beast in the eyes and blinding it effectively. He took about 7 sticks of C4, and landed on the Dragon's head. He pounded on it's skull with his superhuman strength until it wailed in pain. Taking this chance, he flew into it's mouth. The dragon roared in pain as the Astronaut's jets burned it's throat. Then silence. A rumbling. Then suddenly the dragon exploded in a magnificent display of intestines and other digestive organs. Astro landed next to Molgor, his explosion and burn-damaged suit reparing itself.

"Just give me a minute" said Astro, laying his head down.

(( I would have drawn out the battle longer but a MYSTERIOUS EXTERNAL FORCE commanded me otherwise ))

07-19-2009, 07:16 AM
Jack looks over the rock, just in time to get side-swiped by some intestine. The slimy organ ricochets off his head and lands a few feet away, still spewing out it's digestive juices.
"Yeesh. Glad it ain't my own," Jack scoffed, wiping off the goo left from the impact. He takes an old, rusted whistle out of his vest pocket, worn down by years past. He brings it to his mouth, but as he takes a blow, it disintigrates. Disgusted at the now powderized object, Jack simply whistles with his hands. Rising from the ground, his steed, which died long ago after Jack passed on, climbs out of the dirt. Almost as rotten as the cowboy who rides him, the horse rushes to Jack's side, waiting for his rider. Jack jumps onto the worn saddle, with the railgun Astro gave him clenched in his hands. He orders the steed to gallop towards the castle entrance, all the while aiming at one of the two supporting drawbridge chains with the railgun.

07-19-2009, 09:54 AM
Molgor turned around at the sound of the explosion and saw the space guy fly out of a massive gush of thick red blood which rained down on to the skeletal mass. The dragons body parts were strewn around aswell, some landing in the moat causing more torrents to burst up into the air.

Jack whistled and a dead horse rose from the ground. He rode towards the fort and started shooting at the thick chains holding up the bridge.

'Hopefully I can help more inside...' thought Molgor.

07-19-2009, 09:56 AM
((Ran out of room. Im on my PSP...)) ((I need this round to finish today cos i'm going away for a week.))

07-20-2009, 08:54 AM
((Don't worry about it moley, I'll cover you with some random development))

The robed man sat in his armchair, eyes fixated on the fire. The fire erupted with the return of the imp. "Master demands you have two fights at the same time!"

"For entertainment!"

07-26-2009, 11:52 PM
((Did this die while I was away?))

07-26-2009, 11:53 PM
((Well, let's just say that the tourney has frozen in time just for you. But, I have a bad feeling it may die anyways. Astro has been silenced. :( ))

07-27-2009, 12:00 AM
(( and apparently is never coming back D=. Plus I ripped my heart out... wait, why am I here? /sniped))

08-03-2009, 10:07 PM
((REVIVAL!!! This shouldn't die, it's to awesome. Also, I'm Code and I'm stupid.))

Someone, somewhere, was watching this battle. He was a powerful figure, and the sight of the dragon being killed so easily, angered him. He snapped his fingers, and as Aztro landed onto the soft soil, he started to feel sick.

Aztro grabbed his stomach, screaming with pain. Then he fell to his knees, all his strength disappearing from his body, it felt like something was sucking the life out of him. And it was.

Slowly Aztro started to fade away, his body turning into dust, until finally, there was nothing left, but a small pile of sand, which was quickly whisked away with the wind.

A voice boomed overhead; "Aztro will no longer be joining you. He is ok, and will be back." Of course, this was a lie, Aztro was no ok, Aztro was dead. "Now, go on with your challenge, entertain me."

And with that the the two contestants started for the wizards tower.

08-04-2009, 01:18 AM

Molgor watched aztro die. He found it amusing to watch something die so easily. He then turned back around to see the bridge fall down over the moat, with it's rusty chains groaning and rattling as they clattered to the ground.

'Oh good.'

Jack cheered and whooped but then stopped as no one was joining in. He then noticed that aztro was gone and said, "Where's aztro?"

"Yes it does!" replied Molgor, slightly chuckling to himself.

'Oh man I am good at puns!'

"But seriously, he died," said Molgor, "it happened when you was making loads of noise with that gun thing."

08-04-2009, 01:29 AM
Jack cheered and whooped but then stopped as no one was joining in. He then noticed that aztro was gone and said, "Where's aztro?"
((God modding! :O))

08-04-2009, 01:33 AM
((Meh, I wanted people to know what moment it was... O_o))

08-04-2009, 04:03 AM
((Oooohhh, you'll pay... :kz:))

Aztro died. Just to think he gave him his gun. Oh wait, that disappeared alongside with Aztro. Gone in the wind... just like the other fishes he shot dead.
"Hmph, figures," Jack scoffed, smacking his horse and galloping full-steam across the bridge.
"Now it's just you and me, wolf-boy."

Molgor got down on to all fours and sped along the bridge next to Jack. They passed through a large arch way and entered the tower. Inside there were two flights of stairs on either side and another passage straight ahead of them. The stairs on the left looked wet and had a dull blue shine around them. There were icicles hanging on the handrail, which was decaying and rotting away in several places.

The stairs on the right looked burnt with several of the steps missing. All that is left of the handrail is the metal hooks sticking out of the wall. These stairs had a reddish tinge that was creeping up the wall.

The passage in the middle was dark and mysterious. Even with Molgors enhanced eye-sight it was still too dark. The darkness looked like it had been eating away at the walls surrounding the passage as there were parts of it that were void of any colour at all.

"So," said Molgor, "Which way?"

08-04-2009, 06:07 PM
Jack peers at the stairs. Not recommended, that's for sure. Then he stares straight ahead. Dark... desolate... err, dark. But that's what he's been use to. Darkness. After all, he's been buried 6 feet under for the last century; what has he to worry about?

He looks at Molgor. Seems the wolf-man can't decide which way to go. He obviously doesn't want to go to the right; it's engulfed in cinders. The left isn't looking hot either; it's the complete opposite with it's icicles hanging. So, the obvious way is straight ahead... whether Molgor liked it or not.

Jack takes out his blade as a precaution. It was now completely infected by Rock's blood. The blade sported a very dark black, so dark that it "hummed" to him, tantilizing him. It looked so diabolical, but... it felt so good. Wolf-boy can hear, right? Good. He can follow the distant echoes of his horse's trod.

"Straight!" Jack shouted, galloping full speed into the pitch black hallway.

08-04-2009, 08:54 PM
Jack sped off on his horse, without discussing the matter with Molgor. Molgor raced after him into the dark passageway, but as soon as he went through the passageway he could no longer see, hear nor smell anything.

He tried to call out for Jack but he could not make a sound. He turned back to the direction he came in and cautiously walked out. He stepped out into a room lit by flames on torches. Molgor was relieved that all of his senses had retuned, but now he had two more problems: he didn't know where he was and he didn't know where Jack was.

"Jack?!" Molgor shouted, in case the cowboy could hear him, but reived no answer.

'Great...' he thought.

And out of nowhere, he was sniped by a random sniper, who seems to be a cowboy. D:

((All that sould be in brackets. I am assuming it is a joke as it doesn't fit in with the story...))

Jack sped through the hallways, as though they were in sheer daylight. He felt so alive in the dark, turning left and hugging right. In fact... he never felt so lively before. Perhaps the sword... nah, couldn't be.

He suddenly stopped at a dead end. A shaft shot straight up to the top story above, light pouring down. The walls were flat... no where to grab on. The blade gently pulled upwards, indicating that the old, smelly wizard was nearby. But as soon as Jack was about to dismount, a loud echo rung through the hallway.

"Jack?!" It was Molgor. For some reason, the wolf-guy had to call out his name. Just great.

As the outburst rained through, it shot up the shaft, shaking the hallway. Loud rumbling ensued, and little sounds of cracks and chips started to fill the room. It was structual integrity, and Jack was lucky enough to find himself in it. Seeing the immediate effects, he turns back around, retreading his path through the hallways.

08-05-2009, 06:24 AM
In the darkness lay the first of their trials, hellhounds, 5 of them. They had been awoken by the shouts of the lost contestants.

The pack leader sniffed the air, sensing the two contests. With a loud bark, he began down the hallway, followed shortly by his companions.

((You guys won't be able to defeat these so easily, and their flames will burn you if you touch them.))

08-05-2009, 01:51 PM
((O_o Fire...))

"Molgor!" he heard Jack shout, but from where?

Molgor suddenly smelt burning flesh. Was Jack in trouble? Molgor decided it would be best to go into the passage. He grudgingly stepped back in and was engulfed by the darkness. He slowly walked down the passage taking very deliberate and careful steps. He saw a blue glow and directed himself towards it. Whatever it was, it had to be better than this utter darkness.

When Molgor arrived at the source of the glow, he noticed it was emintating from a strange floating orb. He examined it for a few seconds then reached out to touch it. It was cool to the touch and it comforted Molgor to be able to feel something.

He suddenly felt like he was being squeezed, very tight. He closed his eyes and held his breath to try and stop the pain. A few seconds later it stopped. He opened his eyes and found himself at the top of the stairs that he saw when he first entered the tower.

'This place is weird,' he thought.

08-06-2009, 04:12 AM
((Oh, that's mean, Code...))

Jack rushed steadily through the hallway, his steed still soaring down the passages. The shaking grew futher away, giving him the time to think.

"Ok..." he thought, "I'm in the middle of a dark hallway, Molgor disappeared to somewhere, and one of the towers is collapsing. Great..." While in the middle of his pondering, he started to smell rotten flesh. Then a odd glow started to arise from one of the halls. Distant steps could be heard, and then suddenly... barking echoed through.

"Uh oh..." Jack mutterd, staring down the hallway... just to find a pack of inflamed pooches rushing straight for him. Without even thinking, he tugs the reins hard, jerking his horse down the same hall that led to the stairwell. Obviously, Mr. "Magic-guy" wanted to stir things up a bit.

08-06-2009, 11:37 AM
Molgor yelped as he saw flurries of flames race out of the darkness. They all stopped at the same moment. Molgor realised that they large dogs, but on fire. They sniffed the air and then one by one looked up at Molgor with their glowing red, demonic eyes. They barked and snarled as they ran for the staircase. They tried to go up, but as soon as they got up a few stairs the ice started melting. This made the stairs slippery and wet. They tumbled down in a massive ball of flame. They then retreated from OOS

08-06-2009, 11:40 AM
the stairs and got louder and more infuriated.

Molgor realised how to stop them. Water.

"Jack! Get them in the moat!" Molgor called.

08-06-2009, 07:27 PM
"Are you crazy?!" Jack hollared back, knowing that would almost certainly lead to a suicide run. But, as the hellhounds got back up, he had no choice. They blocked his way back in.
"... fine."

Jack smacked his steed, making almost an instantaneous gallop towards the bridge. The hounds were close behind, almost nabbing the horse's tail. He slowly stood up on the saddle, knowing what he had to do. As soon as they were on the bridge, Jack lunged off of the horse, grabbing one of the dangling drawbridge chains. The hounds tried turning around, but their forward momentum made them skid, giving the bridge enough time... to become engulfed in flames. Aged by the passing millenia, the bridge cracked and hissed, the wood almost disintigrating away. Suddenly, it gave out, plunging the hellhounds into the murky water below. There was a loud hiss, then a violent turbulence, then... silence. Jack took a deep breath, relieved he didn't get burned alive. He steadily makes his way down the chain, touching down in the castle entrance. Jack walks back into the stairwell, noticing the left staircase was able to be walked on now. He stares back across the moat, watching his steed ride away...

08-06-2009, 11:15 PM
Molgor watched as the hounds and the bridge plunged into the moat.

Jack walked up the stairs, looking saddened by the loss of his steed.

"Er... thanks," growled Molgor, "you can ride me if you want."

Jack smirked at Molgor.

"Wait. That came out wrong," he chuckled.

08-07-2009, 12:08 AM
Seeing the wolf-guy enjoying himself swelled a, rather, deep anger inside of him.

"Don't push it," Jack growled. With him bearing the strain and Molgor doing absolutely nothing, he had the right to be angry. Jack takes his blade out, lightly grasping the hilt. It hummed even louder than before, as it vigorously shook about, plunging itself into the door behind them. He pulled the blade out, sheathing it back into it's holdster. Jack kicks down the door rather easily, due to the years of decay.

Another dark hallway. Probably will render Moglor useless again... doesn't matter. All he needs is to find that crystal ball and he wins. Simple enough. He starts to slowly creep down the hallway.

"Follow me."

08-07-2009, 01:54 AM
((I think you got the wrong idea there :p))

They walked into the newly found corridor and Molgor waited for the darkness to engulf him once more, but nothing happened. He could see as he would in any dark place.

Jack was already walking ahead, so Molgor chased after him.

"Sorry Jack, I was serious about riding me. I could easily outpace you and was more than a match for your noble steed," Molgor stated, "if you need any help then do not be afraid to ask."

08-07-2009, 03:43 AM
Jack whipped around, staring down Molgor.

"Look," Jack hissed, constraining his anger, "All I need... is for you... to shut up..." Taking a bullet out of his sachel, he stares at the round, then stares at the wolf-guy.

"See this; this bullet has your name written all over it. I've killed an evil wizard that manipulated my thoughts; you killed an elf. Don't push your luck..." Jack's anger was bubbling now. So much that it was difficult for him to even hold it in. That encounter with Rock... it altered him. So much pain, so much misery... all in one round. This wasn't just a competition anymore; it was his mission. A mission... for justice.

Suddenly, the blade jerked violently, knocking Jack off of his feet.

"We must be getting close..."

08-07-2009, 08:33 PM
"Woah, you need to calm down. I'm trying to be friendly. I have had enough anger in my life and I just want to stop. I want a new life. To get away from the wilderness. If you are going to be like that that forget about me helping you," panted Molgor.

He could not tell why Jack was acting like this, but it must be something to do with that sword. It had no sort of power before his encounter with the dark one.

Molgor saw a thin dull light low to the gorund in the distance. As they got closer he realised it was a door with a thin gap underneath. A shadow kept breaking the rays, showing movement behind the door.

"I think he is in there," whispered Molgor.

08-09-2009, 03:11 AM
"Good..." Jack whispered, his blade thrashing violently.

Unhooking it from his coat, he unsheathed the sword and pressed it flat to the ground. Then, as though Rock himself were there, the blade suddenly darted under the door, chipping off a part of the hilt. A loud thrashing occured in the room; items shattering and pages ripping. Then, as soon as it started, the sounds came to a halt.

Jack started to load his Winchester. He was so certain that the old bag was dead, he just can't resist blasting the lock off the door. Finally, that crystal ball will be his! All his to cherish and treasure! Slowly, he raised his sights, aimed at the bulky lock. He took a deep breath, and placed his finger on the trigger. It squeezed back, and...

*BOOM!!* The door burst forth from it's metal hinges in a wonderous blast of light! The tremendous force exerted easily overcame Jack's meager bullet. It smashed into the cowboy head-on, pinning him against the wall behind him. He was immediately knocked unconscious.

Waiting in the thrashed study was an old, fierce man, covered in warned cloths and silks. His right hand simmered from the blast, and in his left hand was the sword, suspended in mid-air.

08-10-2009, 12:40 AM
Luckily for Molgor the force was directed and smashed past him, whipping up his fur in it's wake. Molgor fell back in surprise. He was alert now: to any sound, smell or movement. Jack was sprawled on the floor, unconscious and prone to another attack.

Molgor did not know if his presence was known, so he climbed into an alcove in the wall, just big enough to conceal him. His fur changed colour to that of the shadows and he waited to surprise the opponent.

This is it

08-10-2009, 02:59 AM
"... wake up, you fool!!"

Jack came back into consciousness very slowly, his head still razzled by the blast. He couldn't get up, though; a fine crack in his left shoulder told him otherwise. The door piled itself onto him, rendering him useless. Pinned between a door and a wall, at the mercy of an old man... this can't happen! Not again!!

The wizard pointed his right hand out, lifting the heavy door off Jack and tossing it to the side. He then looked at the sword, thrashing about in it's pitch black paintjob. As though holding a cloth, the old man wipes his hand across the sword, cleansing it of the stains that covered the blade. He walks forward towards Jack, exposing him to Molgor. His hand was still outstretched, now pinning the cowboy to the floor.

"Such a poor soul..." the wizard sighed, pointing the sword at Jack.

08-10-2009, 09:54 AM
The ragged wizard stepped into view and pinned Jack to the floor. Molgor pounded at the man, letting out a savage roar as he opened his jaw for the final strike. The wizard turned just as Molgor was about to impact. He didn't stand a chance. He was decapitated by Molgors powerful jaws and was forced into the stone wall.

As Molgor stood there, exhilerated by claiming victory over his foe so easily, the body of the wizard disintergrated. Molgor deducted that it was only held together by the powerful magic.

08-10-2009, 10:01 AM
((Arghh... PSP limit))

As the final bones turned to dust a small orb was visible, poking out of a pile of the remains.

This must be it.

He picked it up and polished off the dust. It was semi transparent and there was a smoke like substance swirling around inside. As it clouded over he heard a booming voice...

08-10-2009, 08:59 PM
Jack struggled to get to his knees, now watching Molgor pick up the orb. A cloud started to form inside, and the wolf-man couldn't resist peering into it's magical gaze. Perfect.

Taking his revolver out, he shot a single bullet at the crystal ball. It impacted the sphere, and shattered it on impact. The magic holding it together dissapated when the wizard faded away, rendering it's glass form useless. If Jack couldn't have it, neither would he.

But the clouded substance still remained intact. It started to glow a blazing orange, the swirling getting more fierce...

08-10-2009, 10:33 PM
((The objective was to get the orb... If it is gone then this round can not end properly.))

The swirling mass engulfed the pair and they heard a booming voice.

((Lets disregard the last booming voice. -_-))

((I need this round to end. I am busy and need to do loads of work by saturday and then will be away for 2 weeks.))

08-11-2009, 04:12 AM
((Sorry 'bout that. But hey, you still were obtaining the orb last.))
