If LBP allows you to move your sackboy while you're falling (anyone know if you can?) I intend to rip off atleast 100 games and include a section of the level where you have to steer your drop to collect stuff either as an opener or something partway through.

Yeah, there's very definitely in-air control, as that's easy to deduce from the videos. (Come on, it's been around since Mario!) The problem may be that you don't have enough to effectively control to that extent while free-falling. Maybe create some sort of parachute?

I'll try whatever it takes to get it working. (It's not a standard feature though, it wasn't in Bionic Commando: Rearmed.)

Well, you could have a platform which is on a piston which moves it from side to side, with a switch that controls the movements. Then you'd have things like gas going up the sides , and you'd have to move the platform to avoid the gas, if you get me?
it kinda gives the feeling of movement.

Bionic Commando also doesn't have a jump, either... But almost every single platformer I can think of has had in-air control to varying degrees. I know there are those without it, they just don't come to mind at the moment. But anyway, I've watched videos quite a lot, and there's really quite a lot of in-air maneuvering ability. It's just that a gravity-only section may be a little bit outside the possibilities. I dunno, I could be wrong. Just making sure the door is open.

Yeah I get you, geting a tad far from the original idea but its a good back-up plan.
