View Full Version : Tweaking of the Dissolve Tool

I want to know if you can tweak how objects dissolve in your level. Things like timing, speed, triggers etc.

Any confirmation as of late of any of the possibilities with the dissolve tool.


Also,

What do you guys plan to do with the dissolve tool in your levels?

Probably.. I'm guessing you'd use the emitters for that.

I'm not sure. In some videos, it looks like some things dissolve when the are touched are interacted with. I'm sure you can adjust timing or something, though.

i'm pretty sure you can link a dissolving of an object to any of the switches. Like pressure of proximity etc. But i'm guessing you know that and are asking if you can adjust the speed of which it dissolves. Which i don't know sorry

Exactly what it sounds like. An object can dissolve away. You know, disappear in multiple little pieces. Faaaaaaaaaaddddddeee.

Yes, you can link dissolving / appearing into triggers. I'd also be very surprised if you weren't able to adjust the timing and speed of dissolving.

Most of the switches and actionable objects so far have multiple settings, it wouldn't make sense to me if they didn't have that for dissolve.
