Anyone getting EndWar?

I feel like I'm the only one who's hyped for this game. I think it looks great, though Tom Clancy games can be disappointing.

It looks quite good, the only problem is that it's being out shined by other games such as LBP, world at war resistance 2 and fifa 09 etc.

I'll probaly gives this a rent to see weather i like it, and if i do i might buy it.

What Tom Clancy games was disappointing? Spinlter cell has been good, Rainbow Six has been good, so which ones are not good. But yeah this game does look good, I just don't really get into RTS games as much, but it does look good. I think I could get this but really there is so many games and this is not on the top of that list.
But compared to Halowars, this game looks better.

OH okay so you are not a fan of the games, I thought the games were great. But hey if you are not fan of them than I can understand. I thought Splinter Cell was a great game and sometimes better than Metal Gear Solid

Was looking forward to it when it was first announced. I was disappointed that it was delayed, but it still has a lot of promise. I'm going to be so broke by the time I get everything that is worth owning.

EndWar seems different though. I barely know anything about it. Isn't the gameplay based on giving commands?

I'm more of an RTS guy than an RTT, but commanding an army by voice and having a planetside effect where every battle affects an overall war.... yes I am excited for this game, however the controls are bugging me, its all based on voice control, if it fails the whole game fails.

If someone yells "OMG GO SOUTH N00B!!" to someone, will my mic pick it up and go south instead of doing what I told them to do... not to mention mic quality and clutter would make it hard to control....

I guess I'll wait for the reviews....

from what I have seen the voice commands are working well and you still can use your controller for some commands.

I think you can use it for all of the commands. Everyone that has previewed the game says that the voice command is flawless.:)

I assume that's because they only had it for a short time and didn't realise that it was a nuisance after a while.

I know it's weird but fifa and pro evo really do sell alot of units.

Back on topic: I think the whole voice commeand thing is cool but i doubt its reliable.
