ok. so after updating my (NA) PSN downloaded version, I went online on the psp and then went to the news thing. just to see if they actually posted anything. here's the oddness i got (plus some emoticons!) instead of the "connect online! blah blah blah..." that is usually there:

wouldn't surprise me that the game we are playing is the beta because it certainly feels rushed.... oh well... that's quite odd...

well the news section on mine say something about the game comes alive once you take it online and when i go online nothing happens.... it makes me so angry how create mode and this game turned out. like u can run in the air with sackboy if you run off a cliff... thats so retarded

Lol! thanks coxy... yea I just got that message as well about the LBP Beta.. odd indeed... I wonder if they're retracting their "Finished" status... still most expensive beta I've ever gotten...

Ok, so the My News now says "LBP Beta News". So if this is a just a beta, I hope when this beta is finished, it updates to the full version. Because i didn't pay $40 just to get a beta version! (If it really is a beta).

I'm not sure. I think its because the Create mode is really buggy, that Sony decided to call it a Beta. It could be that, or it could be something else, I'm sure it is something else.

I think they can call a game a Beta after release.

That sounds like (pardon my bluntness) calling someone who's mentally challenged, "Special" :( just because you felt sorry for it so you wanted to save face...
