With Halloween being exactly 10 days after the release of LBP, I think the majority of my early creations will have that Halloweeny spooky vibe to them.

Perhaps Candy collecting will be part of the process.

So many cool ideas could be the genesis of just this Halloween theme alone. Perhaps a door to door trick or treat level where there's some kind of requirement to get candy from said door.

Because now, instead of having a bag of lolli's you have a bag of 40's :p

Only kidding :)

Maybe a level where you have to infiltrate a giant house full of spooky spirits, grab a huge piece of candy, and bring it back out with you alive?

I got one, you start off in a scene, it's night but nothing scary about it, you go through a door, and it shuts closed. It's PITCH black, so you start moving towards the right and you move over a sensor, and it causes the lights to turn on. This is where the rated M stuff comes in. The lights turn on, only to show the blood on the walls, people carving messages into the wall "Help!" "The cake is evil!" "Don't take the peanut!"

You know, stuff like that. Good? :p

@Tyler Interesting idea. It would be good to make something like that a time trial. @Snarglegarf youre not the only one I'm working on a haunted house/mansion blueprint myself

Awesome. Look forward to playing some other Halloween themed stuff.

I have a vision in my head of a cardboard Jason Vorhees wielding a machete going from side to side in a level I want to make. Maybe a level that just consists of Horror movie icons.

Lol, love it! :p

Maybe at the end there is a peanut and a sign saying "take it" in spooky letters and if you walk into it/grab it, a trapdoor opens in the floor and you fall through into a pitch black room. And there is scary music, then the lights suddenly turn on, you hear the sound of a 'knock knock' a door flies open and there, there, is!!!!!!!!!!...

A load of kids in cheap halloween costumes saying 'Twick, or, tweet!'

lol, u like?!

Nice! I was going to start a thread about planning Halloween levels but this is exactly what I was looking for! :arg:

Keep discussing ideas guys, I have an idea for a minigame: score bubbles, or pieces of candy fall from the sky and you have to catch them with a basket. Whoever gets the most by the end of the level wins. :)

I'll post some inspiration in a bit. :p

Hallowe'en levels are a great idea. Trick-or-treat candy would make great rewards for making it through the scary bits!
