Any help with doors?

:confused: I am having trouble creating a door as seen in AceCreator's 'Basic Tutorial Level' and 'Advanced Tutorial Level'. I have connected a motion sensor to a piston, whilst switched to on/off. I am wondering if I have done anything wrong? :confused:

What does the door currently do when you activate the sensor?

Try changing to directional :)

it curently does nothing as i approach the door, and i shall try directional thankyou.

what happens if you delete the switch? does the door start moving?

Woah, just saw the comment about dynamic and realised I'm in the PSP forum...

Thanks everyone, I tried thanking you last night on my psp, but my connection was deathly slow! And a BIG thanks to T3natrix, changing to dynamic solved my problem, and a lot more of my problems too... THANKS!
