I've been trying to create a waterfall for a level I've been working on lately, but haven't had any luck... Seeing as though I've seen some fantastic waterfalls in community levels, I was wondering if anyone had any tips?

Convert a material into gas.
Then use the "change material" tool to turn it into a new material. It will still have gas properties, but with the look of the new material.
Choosing the proper materials, you can recreate a waterfall.
Add some sounds for full effect.

Hey Fastbro,
Alternatively, you can make waterfalls with convincing movement using emitters.
I suggest playing Waterfall Paradise by patrick-cod6
I think this one is fairly easy as you have to corner-edit a block to look like a falling "wave." I really like how the "waves" are closer at the top and accelerate and separate as they fall towards the bottom. The effect looks really cool.
Also, you can watch Water World by ragged135 on youtube and forwarding to about 10 seconds:

I believe the Water World one is a bit trickier to execute as you have to finely tune the frequency and velocity of the falling panels to make it look continuous. If you look closely at JHKThree's video, the waterfall isn't completely continuous, but the effect is still amazing. I could be wrong explaining how this waterfall works though...
Good luck, and happy creatin',

Use the horrible gas glitch.
1. Select any material
2. Turn it into gas, any coulour doesn't matter.
3. Use the material changer to change it into a watery blue matieral.
4. Admire you falls.
Edit: Oh yeh and make it thin so it is not lethal.
