F4F:SackBoys dream of Fame... swweet

sackboy dreams of fame by creating levels...but he can't make squat and he doesn't listen to his teacher at create school...will he ever make a good lvl?

yes...create school,the bane of all sackboys?no,fun?again...no.

mighty fine scoreboard there...and it signals going back to the pod!

ah home sweet pod...feel free to decorate!

yes,sackboy eventually makes a lvlgood?who knows...but is that a falling rock?

more falling rocks...yipee...

there are more challenges in sackboys finished level...but you will have to play to see them

tthx,i worked for at least week on the lvl then took pictures of it...its really fun and has a nice story

Ok, just finished playing it... I enjoyed the level, it had some good designs and nice bits of platforming in it. But I have a suggestion... On the Jectpack section. You may want to shorten the teather or block off the roof section. The player can simply go and walk on top of the school.

Ok i just write down my thoughts while playing:

- Looks good at eh beginning
- I woneder what the emitted yellow objects are...
- much walking going on here
- oh isnt the jetpack glued to anything? (i can fly outside the level)
- if i die by flying into gas with the jetpack, i have to restart. (Broken level)
- oh the story starts and i really think i have missed something while dreaming. Nice!
- just noticed that there arent any scorebubbles until now...
- didnt really know where to go at the 10 sec sign. (i just jumped past it...)
- the home is very empty
- that slideing thing where you have to grab onto is spawning too late. I think its too much luck...
- oh i have to go though the falling rocks again if i die at the spinng platforms...? (checkpoint here please, its really hard and frustrating like this)

Sorry but i quit here. Its just too hard and frustrating right now.
I like the visuals of this level and i think it has a good lenght (didnt see all yet).
Some areas seem too empty and i had to walk very much without doing anything else...
Maybe you can do some changes. It may get a really nice level then!

Finally got around to playing this. Nice concept! The different areas all have a distinct look and feel from one another, and your transitions are good. Your visuals are simple but well done, and I liked the variety of platforming challenges. You could definitely use some score bubbles though, and some spots of your level are a bit empty. The conversation in My Pod is a little awkward but it works. Speaking of the pod, I liked the basic cardboard look of that section and I thought you did a good job there.

I didn't get too far into the "level" though. The falling fire logs are doable but they fall a little too fast for me. I couldn't get past the spinning platforms at all, so that's where it ended for me. I tried for a good long while, but it's just too difficult. They need to be a little closer together and spin more slowly. Regardless, I think you're off to a good start here and gave you 3 stars. Let me know if/when you make changes and I'll give it another try!

Oh, I forgot to add - you actually fooled me with your fake scoreboard. LOL I knew it didn't look quite right, but I thought you had just dressed it up a bit or something. I jumped on it expecting the level to end but nope, the joke was on me. Well done! :D

Blow by blow:

Nice moving stars background. Died already on wobbly rock thing, that took me by surprise. Chain on jet pack waaaaayyy too long, or did you not 'tether' it. (best way to fix a jet pack is surround it by a solid wall on all four sides, (just leave the front open, oh and obviously only one block thick and to the back so as you can get to it.) Nice use of score bubbles to guide you in the right direction. Shame about the weird shaped foreground that you walk behind, very ugly. Lol at your floating table and chairs, what no legs? Nice touch of the teacher and chalkboard. Speech bubble at second teacher reads: "You **** at creating....give u" whats that all about? And the third teacher says 'wanna hear what a 3-letter word for loser is?You" Now that's a bit unfair, I just spent my time playing your game and you call me names? (seriously, the last two really need to be taken out, some people may take offense: schools, and name calling = bullying Now if those three characters were stated as being bullies, then maybe that would be better) AHHHH, cool fake score board!! The grabby moving thing back at your pod acted all weird and crushed me as I grabbed it??? And the speech there was really difficult to follow.Just got back to your pod cant get out, the invisible piston on the grabby thing is all wrong, probably due to the update?

So, basically, I cant get out/any further.
I'm not going to score you as its unfinished. Let me know when its sorted, good luck! But good effort so far.

Your level is broke after you move through my pod there is nothing there and as with everyone else tether the jetpack and shorten it. It seems like a really fun level tell me when it is fixed.

I feel dumb for asking this but where do I go when im in the pod after i follow the arrow with my moon on it. Im in a room and I have no where to go.

i have finally fixed it...good luck!this is more of an experiment i will implement some of this on my next lvl
