Due to popular demand, the 2010 HASTAC/MacArthur Foundation Digital Media and Learning Competition has been re-opened to NEW applicants for one more week! :star:
This year's Competition has a game-specific category (Game Changers (http://www.dmlcompetition.net/game_changers.php)). We're looking for creative levels designed with either LittleBigPlanet (or Spore Galactic Adventures) that offer young people engaging game play experiences and that incorporate and leverage principles of science, technology, engineering, and math for learning. Applicants can win $5,000-$50,000.
The application system is open now! (http://www.dmlcompetition.net/application.php)
For more information about this year's Competition, please see http://www.dmlcompetition.net. The first-round application just asks for 300-word description of your idea, so it's very easy to apply.
Please reply to this post if you have questions and I'll do my best to answer. Good luck!
