I wasn't able to create the teleporter that's used on the PS3, but the new update allowed me to create something similar. Check it out!

It looks like it works like this: The proximity switch that activates the electrified material emitter also activates an emitter that emits a checkpoint. The checkpoint slides down the slope inside the wooden box and the player respawns from the checkpoint when it appears at the bottom. The whole system is very cleverly timed so that the player respawns a fraction of a second before the checkpoint expires and disappears.

This sounds great - I'll have to check it out. I've never really messed with transporter mechanics but it sounds pretty useful.

No! Old school teleports only!
