Any of you think that a multi-player online mode will be made for LBP PSP? I mean without multi-play it seems like all the fun from the PS3 version is scuked away from the PSP version :P

Sadly, it was taken out because of restrictions. It was either the create mode or the multiplayer.

But for some crazy reason that it was possible all of a sudden, it could probably be released by patch (KZ:L did this too).

It would be awesome to have multi-player.

Yeah. Since they couldn't include it on the disk, they may be able to include it with a patch. Maybe they're even working on it right now.

Yeah, they couldn't include multiplayer on the PSP version. Too much processing power, but it would be awesome. They may include it in a patch sometime though.

I hope there isn't a second LBP for the PSP1

It will break the community up, and is there really anything they can't release in updates that the PSP can handle?

it would be a huge and very pleasant surprise if they gave us multiplayer.

I would be tickled pink to see a multiplayer mode added to Little Big Planet PSP...but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. This is something that would either come in DLC or as a new game as a whole, not an update.

If they release a Little Big Planet 2 for PSP then maybe, just maybe it might be possible.

Well as MattAstr said A LBP 2 for the PSP will break up the community so that's not a good idea.

I heard from somewhere, that Cambridge would never make a LBP 2, because It would be the most counter productive thing they could possibly do. It would break up the community, like you said, and make one big nasty.

Yeah, but if it was on an all new console (ie PSP 2) then I'd be happy with that, since there would be so many new things that could be added and improved on with all new hardware.

But making a new one on the same console seems pointless since a lot of limits have been pushed in certain areas and wouldn't really get us anywhere.

This is a little off topic, but can anyone imagine how good LBP would be on a second PSP? I mean, if we can get this amazing game on 5 year old hardware, imagine all the stuff we could have on new hardware!

Well, Cambridge hasn't fixed the major bugs in the first game despite several problems and countless updates, so maybe they don't have a choice. Start fresh, make something that actually works.

Then maybe we could disown the first game and the second one's community would completely replace that of the first one.

What about the people who already have the first version of the game.

As I said...disown it. I have it, and I wouldn't have a problem trading it in if they released a new game that was the same only better. My only regret would be the fact that it was a gift to me from a good friend...and I would feel bad trading it in.

I would rather it be DLC than a new game though. My previous statement was simply to reinforce the fact that completely new major features to a game are seldom simply free random updates.

I wouldn't care as long as they had at least 2 players multi-player I wouldn't even care if it was ad-hoc I would use my PS3 to use Ad-hoc party! Then again what about the people that don't have PS3's or Wired Internet...

It might be possible I have heard they were working on it since the beginning maybe they just gave up...
