I recently got my Dualshock 3 from amazon ($40! tax free!) and finally booted up Warhawk to play with it for the first time...
Let me say first off, that the controller feels solid. Give your 'ole sixaxis a good squeeze and notice how flimsy it feels. The build and the weight of the controller are PERFECT. Holding it in your hands no longer feels like you're not holding anything. The analogue sticks also feel a bit more responsive and are sunk down a bit.
Now back to the game play, I was shocked to realize that I was missing so much without the force feedback. Really. It made the game so much better. Shooting the gun felt awesome, sniping was 100X more enjoyable, and any explosion rattled the controller. This is the perfect controller, (well beside the horrid L2 R2 triggers). Shame on Sony for not including this to begin with!
Anyway, enough of me, how many have a DS3 and noticed the same thing I did? Is it really that big a deal like I'm making it out to be? Anyone else have a similar 'awakening' with this controller like I had?
Thoughts?
