Hey! I have yet to see anything about Mirror's Edge yet :confused:. So I just wanted to know what everybody thinks about the game :p (don't ask why I put that there I just love that picture)!

It's a very unique looking game, and defintley has got my intrest in this game. But I just hope it does live up to the hype. I mean free running throught buildings is awesome But I don't know why I get a feeling it maybe become linear.

EA said that it would be linear in the direction you need to go. But they also said that there will be many different paths to get there.
I just hope they pull through. :):)

I'm really wanting this game, if it lives up to what its supposed to do. Glad there's gonna be a demo at some point because I don't really trust reviews this gen.

Hurray for a female main character that isn't a pile of floating boobs!

The art style is certainly different from the norm, might be purchased in next years summer games drought if its good.

With LBP, far cry, fallout, socom, guitar hero and the likes, I have no money too. :(

The game does look good, I am just not sure if I am all into the game yet. It sure does look good but the game really needs a demo for me to get a idea of what is involved.

It has a bit of a Portal-style theme to it. Which is hardly a bad thing.

From what I've seen, it looks like it could be a very fun game. As long as they keep it open, so you can go off the beaten path, it will be excellent. If it's just completely linear...I think it will just play itself. By this, I mean that although path A is advised, you could wind around path B through C and end up in the same place, while getting some bonuses in the process.

Yeah totally agree with you, or I hope it is not like god of war through the game like how bourne did it. I want to be able to feel like I am doing the jumps and moving.

Have you seen the portal/mirrors edge fan-made crossover?

To be honest thats great news then, It's just I was thnking if they made a sandbox version but with the same style that would be seriously cool

It's the only other game I have on reserve and fully paid off besides LBP.:idea:


seriously though, It looks to be a lot of fun. because of Faith's job as a runner, a lot of things are timed, so the game shifts from being a FPS to a racer of sorts, and making people think of time instead of the next headshot is what keeps me interested. That and the guns that were shown in the beginning demos and promo videos are completely optional, You could be a Pacifist (for the most part) if you wanted to!

This is one of the few games I want to get this year based on originality. This and LBP seem like the only original games coming out this year. As for unoriginal I can't wait for Gears 2!
