how would you know if a thread similars to one you will post already exists?

it could be at any page of the forums and then It will get locked because apparently it upsets people, I am not trying to upset you guys I just wanted to know because a thread i posted (my second one) was about the April fools thing and it got locked so yeah... :blush:

p.s. if you do post back watch the attitude seriously LBP is fun and I don't want some LBPDs (LittleBigPlanetDivas) ruining it for the other sackpeople of the community

A good idea is to use the search function in the upper-right corner of the page, try doing multiple searches to look for similar threads. :)

Like warlord said, just doing a quick search typically works. When something like new DLC is announced, people tend to place threads all over, which somewhat clutter the forums. We weren't trying to be mean or anything with locking your thread, just conscious of the fact that there was another thread out there already :)
