Seriously there are actually differences, even in the first level. I bought Force Unleashed a few days ago.
I'm gonna be honest, it's a lot of fun if you're a Star Wars fan. Throwing Troopers around never gets old. While yes, there are a lot of obvious bugs, they can be ignored. They're not horrible. The gameplay is true fun. I like that I can upgrade my Powers, Buy new Combos, get better Health and Force, change my Lightsaber colour, add a new power to the lightsaber.
And the story is pretty good. I'm thinking of getting the book, just to see the differences in the story.

Have you played the Lord of the Rings series on the PS2? Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has many similarities to it.

I have. Return Of the King was Brilliant IMO. I spent a hell amount of time on it.
But if you want to compare it with other games as well, then I'd say it's a mix between God of War and Psi-Ops.

Sonic Chronical's for my DS since I am always on the go it works out cause it be so tiny. Other than that I don't have a clue, I picked up a bunch of games so play with them like Secret Agent Clank, Sonic Chronical's The World Ends with You, Rock Band 2. All within a week and a half period with not enough tme to get far in any of them.

I played on hard directly after I completed Normal, before trophies though. My cataloge is too big to do that now (Burnout, WipEout, Warhawk, NCAA Football 09....) for the trophies.
