Im sorry if this has come up already but there is simply too much chatter to check. That being said i was on Wikipedia (i know the best source ever!), any way i was looking at the games details on the top right of the page and it clearly says under input modes: Keyboard and mouse (Level Creation only), which would be extremely useful and frankly i'm surprised more games haven't taken advantage of the ps3's usb capabilities yet.
Not sure if this is concrete evidence however i think it would be a welcome addition to the game.
Also, i think i found a hint of the ability to edit the level perimeter (ie taller but not as wide or vise versa). This is taken directly from the LBP2 website:
through a familiar but revamped Popit, you can bring your characters to life, compose your own music, direct cinematic masterpieces, wire controllers directly in to your contraptions, connect easy to use switches, microchips and circuit boards to build epic bosses, vehicles, machines, and puzzles.
Make your wildest dreams come true, yes, even that one
....Notice that last line? i don't know but i think they're hinting at something.
here are the links if you want to check it out:

Do you think these are credible, have you found clues? share in the comments below!
