i heard a rumor on a level from LBP (original) that there will be a tool that lets you record your own music, sounds, and voices (like a microphone, not the way we do make music right now.). i'm really hopeing they have that.

I don't think so. I expected that tool on LBP but it didn't come so I think they just make music tracks more mixable.
