Trying to Explain LBP2 to Mom

Me: A game coming out
Mom: What game?
Me: Little Big Planet 2
Mom: Whens it come out?
Me: Ummm I haven't checked yet but I saw videos and it looks really good
Me: In the game you play as this little sack boy
Mom: Sack Boy?
Me: Yeah
Mom: As in... groceries?
Me: No no it's like a little doll with stuffing that's alive.
Mom: But you said it's a game
Me: It is a game
Mom: But a doll isn't alive
Me: In the GAME it's alive
Mom: Oh well that's...kinda cool...
Me: Yeah and in the game they have these things called Sack Bots. They are like robot sack boys and you can record your moves and they can do them to. You can make them act like zombies or robots.
Mom: That's weird.
Me: You can make them follow players and even make them dance
Mom: That's strange
Me: What do you mean strange!? THAT'S AWESOME!
Mom: zombie dolls following you around? I'd be creeped out.
Me: But listen you can also make them tiny or HUGE. So you could make a bunch of tiny sack dolls follow you around like zombies.
Mom: That's really creepy.
Me: Just forget it... one things for sure though... I am definately preordering it and I'm also going to get a real sack doll.
Mom: It won't come alive and chase you right?
Me: Omg...

It's quite obvious that if you did, she would explode with the sheer awesomeness. Well... either that or go 'oh right', and walk away too... perm her hair or whatever Moms do these days.

My mom loves LBP. When she saw me playing LBP1 beta she said it was a really nice game. Its the only game my parents pre ordered for me, without me asking first :o
