In the future, It would be awesome if we had the ability to move things between the three dimensions in the game.
For example, having a block that you can drag from the back depth to the front depth, provided that there was nothing in the way, or you could have a vehicle, that depending on what series of buttons you press, could operate in any one of the dimensions.

I suggested something similar. Its quite essential, really, but, the game works without it so hope for a patch.

Exactly what I was thinking of... It's a pain when you want to move an object between planes but you can't >_>

It makes the puzzles harder, that could ruin sections of the game.

That would also slightly mess up the physics if it were applied to both axis.

I don't see how it would mess the physics up. Moving objects across planes would take this game to a new level. I bet they're saving it for a sequel.

The problem would be if it applied to ALL blocks.
See, if you could move the block across multiple things without regards to a specificly declaring it, it would prove a problem for levels made before that patch.
But a new object solely for that, maybe...

Good idea. It would just be like using the dissolve material (as in a material for a specific use)
This would do me:)

uh I thought you would be pushing and pulling objects across planes or have levels do that themselves? Objects would still stay in their own plane unless specified.

This would negate the whole idea of planes, and instead make LittleBigPlanet a full 3D game. The physics engine in LittleBigPlanet would have to be completely reworked for this to function, and honestly, I don't see that happening until a sequel.

Actually, I meant moving a single object, from one plane, into another plane, it would react the same as it did before, It would just be in a different plane.

Well, that might be able to be achieved, although I can see potential obstacles that would have to be overcome. Interesting idea, though.
it would make LBP alot more confusing than it already is
well its not confusing but in the beta the switching lane kinda thing was weird by switching lane i mean moving upfront like closer to you and farther away
hey it was the beta ! ;)

I second that. That is a good idea.:p:):p
