I can't see the vids in your first post and both links in your second go to the same vid.

[edit] Watched 'em both. The rotation detection seems decent and is better than the one I used to use, but not as good as Rtm's Wheeley Good Switches. The hydraulics are ok, but I bet the logic could be streamlined.

Incidentally, pistons set to extend constantly make great shock absorbers on cars provided their strong enough to stay straight while the car is driving.
