You mean like the blocks in Mario, just floating with nothing there to support them?

You can't, technically. You need to use Darkmatter to "glue" the object to the back wall- it's in materials, and, if you're good, you can probabkly make it seem like it's not there by covering it with objects.

So you mean to make a wafer thin layer of darkmatter in the back, then glue your "floating object onto it, right?

Or you could put a very, very, very small amount of dark matter going right though the object you want to float.

dark matter? what is that under? do u remeber in lvl 2 of story mode, there is some cloud where holding by strings to the top of the sky, how do they do it?

dark matter? what is that under? do u remeber in lvl 2 of story mode, there is some cloud where holding by strings to the top of the sky, how do they do it?It's in basic materials beside the basic stone, basic wood, basic cardboard, etc. Trust me, you will be using it ALOT as it is really handy with holding things together and creating offscreen switches.

Tcloud in level two is held BY those strings... there's a top of every level, you just can't see it, and so the strings are connected to that.

It's one of the building materials that "defies" gravity. I think there are two gravity-defying materials total.. one that stays where you put it and one that floats up if you don't attach it to the background.

Dark Matter: A Material that cannot be moved or comply with the laws of gravity.

Pink Floaty: A Material that without input is the same as dark matter, but with applied input (e.g sackboy grabbing onto) it will move around.

Peach Floaty: Think Helium Balloon!

If you mean like an object in mid air held by a string then its probably attached to dark matter off-screen.
