I've set up an object so that when you trip a proximity switch on it, an emitter on the object spawns a points bubble. I tested the object and it works the way I want it to.
I've taken that object and set it up to come out of an emitter on my map. When it's spawned this way, The switch and emitter on the object no longer work.
Does anyone know why? My best guess at this point is that switches lose their associations when they are spawned via an emitter.
Side note: be careful with the tweak settings when you use emitters to spawn objects than contain emitters... it's a great way to overheat a map!
