Ive spent the past week trying to develope a grappling hook for sackbots that has aim fiunctions as well as being far longer than MMs version (around 100x longer).
As its a new concept ive put a tutorial of how to use it and a simple mini game where you have to activate as many targets as possible by swinging into them.The controls are very simple. The right directional stick controls the direction of the device, while holding R1 in combination will launch it.

neat... it really blows that sackbots can't use the paintinator and grappling hook, so i'll be glad to see this work. if i was going to try it i'd probably shoot a sticky, a follower to send me to it, and whatever visual rope effects i can get inbetween. getting any kind of swing or control to it would be a real pain, so whatever you get going is probably gonna be pretty cool.

I tried sticky, but its was too unreliable. It would detatch way to often. I used anigravity instead. The only problen is you cant pull things. I also tried a follower to send me to the end it, but you cant get the gravity based swing effect I wanted, so I went with a winch fired off by a piston. It works perfectly and is very easy to use once you understand the simple controls. The only problem with the level is lag. I went a little crazy with details lol.

Wait, they can't use the grappling hook? They're supposed to be able to use all the powerups. That's weird. Maybe it will be able to in the final release version, tho.

I saw this on your planet after playing pong survival (Terrific btw!) but it was locked. Sounds interesting though.

It's brilliant how people are utilizing the given tools to bypass typical problems. The grapple hook AND the level look amazing! I'll have to check this out if I get the Beta :D

Paintinator = Creatinator. Just let sackbots use the creatinator and they will be able to use the paintinator. :)
