I'm just curious if you think this could be done with the new tools. If you haven't played the game then you should probably go download it from the playstation store. It's a platformer that costs like four bucks? I mean it's really simple but pretty fun and the story is hilarious. Anyways you jump from platform to platform building up a combo that gives you more and more points, if you retouch a platform you've already touched you lose the combo. Oh and your chasing after monsters who (PROBABLY!!) stole your princess. The game involves dumping jumping, jumping off of walls, and double jumping into the monster three times to kill it and pull off a finishing move based on how big of a combo you have going.

I love that game! the high score part is so addictive!! I thought about making it too but it would only work single player wouldn't it?

Well I'm not part of the beta but I cannot say for sure, but to me it would seem like you could force the players into sackbots (you'd have to give them the double jump and stuff anyways) and give each of the players a specific tag color to make the platforms recognize each player as different... although I was thinking about just this as a single player level not a multiple player level, though I guess it could be.

The only problem I foresee really is the wall jump mechanic, I dunno if we could make the sackbots stick to a wall for a sec or so to give them time to jump off it... You know?

I in the first place wouldn't know how to go about making this because A) I'm not in the beta and can't mess around with stuff B) I haven't thought out the logic at all. But it seems possible, I mean, right? hah.

And to both of you: Yes that game is quite fun. And a wallet friendly price too :)

Maybe if they get really close to the wall they could hit zero gravity fr like a half a second to stick them there or something and then allow a player an extra jump if you know what I mean? Its just an idea off the top of my head n I'm sure its definitely possible in LBP 2

Nah it's possible, I can't remember exactly how I achieved it, but most of the effort was involved in tweaking and tuning various settings to make it feel right and respond well to player inputs.
