Cheapest PS3 compatible microphone?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a microphone, only to record things for LBP. I don't use my PS3 often. (only for exclusives.) So, I'm not bothered about those bluetooth headset's, etc.

Would any cheap USB mic work?

The cheapest is probably the playstation eye. Those things are like £4 now.

Yes, PS3 supports driver less USB audio mics and headsets

I'm using Logitech Ventige and work nice + i can use it on PC without buying extra hardware

Well, I ended up ordering a Blue Yeti Snowball microphone (http://www.drumza.com/images/BlueSnowballUSBMicrophone.jpg).

£70... So much for cheap, eh? :p

I only bought this, because I also play acoustic guitar, and needed something decent to record that, as recording through my laptop mic sounds terrible!


...Now I just hope it works with a PS3. It is a USB plug & play anyway...
