Unlocking Create Mode?

I know I'm going to feel dumb...but I have played through the first two worlds in story mode and I still cannot use create mode. I can get into an old level or a blank one, but it wont let me use any of the tools. I've even sat through some of the tutorial and clicked "unlock all tutorials"...but nothing.

Im not sure if the "unlock all tutorials" unlcoks the materials? But if its like LBP then you have to play the tutorials to unlock everything. Maybe someone with the game can confirm?

Oh come on? You trying to tell me none of you are playing with create mode?

I hope this isn't a glitch. I don't have internet to get updates right now.

I can get into create mode (but i beat the game before I tried). The only thing that's annoying is that you literally have to watch all the 54 tutorials to unlock all the pieces? Is there a way to just select them all and get the materials? I don't feel like popping in and out 54 times.

Some of the tutorials are just videos. For the ones that you "do stuff in," just pop in, fly to the "end," grab the gifts and leave. It's a lot shorter of a time than it seems.It took me just a few minutes. Of course, I didn't try going to Create mode first, so I'm not 100% sure this's what you mean. If you somehow don't know where it's at, I think you go to Me, then a My Moon option is there. Simple enough, just ever-so-slightly time consuming :)

I think it's simliar to lbp1. Play first story mode section (Da Vinchi's Hideout) and try again.

FREE AIM hit it on the head, also make sure your "preview" is unchecked (under the start menu. it will hide all wires and sensors while in create mode.....

Well...I got home, turned on the PS3...and create was working fine. I guess it was a temporary glitch.

Sorry if I was a whining poop head. I was frustrated.
