Salutations!

I`m new to LBP and I am enjoying it so far, I came here to seek some help as making a really good level proves to be a little challenging for me. I have some good ideas but sometimes I come up with the problem of not knowing how to implement them, and then...I saw this tutorial made by rtm223 about the use of winches. I read it and found it to really be something I had to learn to do...one problem, I can`t do what he has in the pictures! I`m more of a person that understands by watching, and so the in-game tutorials helped me a lot, I guess the question here would be; is there a way to see step by step how to create them? It can be anything, from pictures to videos...I`m really looking forward to creating some good levels but this talk of physics (I was never good at it) and maths (I can defend myself here) gets a little confusing at times. Any help is really appreciated (the worst help...would be no help at all @_@)

Well..... For starters rtm223's winch logic isn't really necessary in LBP2. Are you looking for logic help in LBP1? If not, in LBP2 you'll use AND Gate, OR Gate, or XOR Gate logic gadgets instead.

Thanks, I was confused as I could not find some of the things I saw on the images...should have guessed they were from LBP1. Thanks for your help

I'm still sort of a rookie at making complete levels. One thing that I have found that really helps is to write out what you want your device to do. Go step by step for each step you want it to take. The logic starts coming together better for me when I break it down like that than it does if I just say "I want this counter to go up and down".

I know it sounds boring, but with how complex these levels can get, getting into the habit of taking notes helps a ton. I've even started to use the in game notes object to post to do lists on my levels, and describe circuits.
