View Full Version : Nodding and Swimming Bug?

When I switch to my hips they move, when I switch to head nod it decides to just stare at the screen. On other accounts it's fine.
+Upgraded my LBP1 profile to my LBP2 profile.
- I've skimmed around and tried the whole backup and import suggestion someone said that worked, no luck on my end.
My profile is still bugged. Anything that involves moving anything underwater is a lost cause considering I cannot swim with X working.
Any fixes?

Sounds like you have a problem with your DuoShock. Does it work properly on other games?

i have the same problem. and i've heard of others having the water bug too. i'd really like to know how to fix it, without it being a major pain in the butt.

I had this during the Beta. It seems to be linked to the Naux Glitch, as it has the same effects on swimming. The only difference is the head not moving, and that your not short.

I have the exact same problems, and I heard something about loading your old profile data from LBP1, but I am unaware of how it will affect your current status, such as your progression in the story campaign, collectables, etc.
I can not nod(I've four controllers, and neither let's me do this. It worked fine until yesterday, and then it glitched up), neither can I swim faster than the game alows me, even if I'm holding X. Additionally, I can not drown either. As for other bugs, aside from versus levels having loading issues, when more than two players are active at once.
I really hope they fix this soon, because this is a rather tedious revelation to stumble across. I suspect that because they had to deal with the loading issues, they in turn caused the serves to glitch, which makes me wonder why they didn't anticipate that, they'd need a great deal of power, seeing as it's a widely popular game.

I had this bug and sorry to say, your profile is shot as of now. If you have gone really far, back it up for some other time if it can ever be patched but it's possible that now that it is broken, it's gone forever.
Go into LBP1 and backup your current profile. Now start up LBP2 and load that newest LBP1 profile. Be sure to backup your glitched LBP2 profile first. Once you do this, it'll work. I haven't had this problem again.
