View Full Version : Joystick rotator deceleration?

So, I've hooked my right stick to a joystick rotator and things work ok for the most part. I can turn any way I want and that's all well and good, what I'm having issues with though is the fact that there is no deceleration setting on the joystick rotator. This means, that from time to time, if I let off the right stick too quickly, my unit will enter into a free spin. Also, a deceleration setting would help smooth the right stick controls a little as well. Does anyone know how to impose deceleration onto a joystick rotator?

I am pretty sure if you put a gravity tweaker chip on the object and increase the dampening it will stop the spinning...i think 100 perfect would make it stop immediately and a lower amount would make it stop but not as sudden

Well...it was close. The damper does help (thank you!) but 100% keeps it from moving period. However, setting it to 90% allowed full movement as before, but appears to give the rotator 100% deceleration. Thanks a bunch! :)
