have you noticed that, on the last level, the finish goal was only 2 layers thick? i did, and i wondered how the level developers did that. One of the levels i had made could have really used a 1 layer thick goal post, so i set out to find out how to fix that. here's what i found:
as you know, every finish goal consists of 2 parts. the backboard, which reads who won the level and any awards, and the bottom. the bottom is always 3 layers thick, and can't be individually removed. at least, not with normal methods.
if you place a finish goal on the flat ground, and then create a giant square of metal. you can crush the bottom of the board! place the metal in front of the backboard, so as you can't see anything but the cardboard bottom, and press play. it will crush the post, but once you delete the metal, the finish goal will still be there! now you can have your finish line as thick as you want it to!
