Not a huge tutorial, but I thought I might as well put it out there...

If you want an invisible barrier that kills the player on contact, all you have to do is take 0% brightness hologram and plasmify it (I know electricity doesn't work, not sure about fire).
Besides invisible danger, this can also be used to block the player from switching to certain layers. Just be sure to turn the danger sounds off if you don't want them!

So there you go to those of you who are wondering if this can be done and haven't found out how yet!

Fire makes a pretty line of fire (what really ?) without the ugly burning texture (just like using the creatinator to shoot fire).
If you want to emmit fire just like with the creatinator, you might have noticed that emmiting fireballs makes ugly balls of fire, not just fire itself. Create a small circle of hologram at 0% birghtness and fire it to make a great fire projectile.
