Ok, say you want 2 different switches to control one thing.
The best way to do this is to get a piece of Dark Matter, with a 3 way switch on it. Then, attach two winches to either side of the switch (so they're pulling it instead).
All you have to do then, is connect each of the original switches to the winches (after configuring them, so they pull well), and configure the switches how ever you want!
An example is how I made my helicopter rise and fall. You make it come down to you by standing near a proximity switch, and you can make it rise by grabbing on :)
