I'm not sure if it's only happening to me, but sometimes when I put a mouth on something and set up the text for it and it's all done. Later on I find that it's gone missing.. is it because I've altered the material/shape the mouth was placed on or something else? It's already happened on quite a number of occasions and sometimes I don't really notice it until later on because I use them as instructions to tell others what to do and since I know what to do I don't pay much attention to it.

I just want to find the cause of it as to prevent this from happening again. So many problems occur when I make levels that it gets a little frustruating sometimes.

Trial and error.

Test it out, try seeing what causes this. Place the mouth on a material, then change the material and observe if there is any difference. I really have no idea as to why it would happen O_o

There's LOTS of glitches in LBP, but this one I haven't yet heard of...

You know I've had this glitch happen to me A LOT. What happens is (for me anyway) when you carve a material and split it in two, one half of it looses everything that is attached to it. Not other materials, but I've noticed it remove emitters, mouths and sound objects. I figured this out by rewinding and watching for when my emitters would reapear. The safest way to make sure everything stays till the end if you think you might still modify a shape, put your mouth or whatever on a piece of dark matter right next to where you plan on eventually put it, then when you are done your level, just go through it, place them all where they belong and delete the pieces of dark matter. That would be the safest, least annoying way I can think of to avoid the glitch.

Hope that helps :)

This has happened to me alot. I found out that you need to press start a couple of times. I think at least twice. It you press any other button it won't enter the text.

Thanks alot for the help. I'll definitely be trying that method out next time I'm making a level. Hopefully it's the same glitch and not some other one.. haha.

I'll probably test some stuff out regarding this glitch if I have time.

Thanks again. :)

I used to have that problem, but not anymore. Just have to be careful when pressing buttons, lol. However, this is a different problem from the one I'm talking about here.
