You navigate your way through an asteroid belt where you come upon a crossroads. One path will take you through a mining facility where the working robots don't take kindly to your tresspassing. The other has you exterminating alien creatures which leads you into a lair of a beast that none have seen and lived.

So check it out. I promise you won't be disappointed. :hero:

This is as good a level as you can hope to play - help wasn't too forthcoming and the platforming was challenging at times.

Very well designed background, atmosphere is perfect, really really well done on this one. Five Stars.

Sure did. I love a good multi-path level, adds a lot of replayability. I would have liked to see some puzzles, maybe, and some deviations from the path for a prize bubble or something, and x2 sections are always great, but those are all just extra things and don't have to be in a level for it to be great.

Detail is always a big part, he might want to add a little more detail just to spice things up, for an example, have it so you see Falling meteors in the backround? Just have them emit every so often, little things like that.

Great level, really. The creatures were very well made, except those lobster-dudes kept kicking my ****. How did you make the one that flashes the light on you and puts up an electric barrier between you and the brain?

I like it :) especially the part with the comets/floating rocks in the beginning it would have looked better if you added some more detail to the rocks... just a suggestion

Very good level design, i love the attention to detail in the asteriod, the falling rocks from the emitters for example. How did u create floating rocks? hearted the level and i only heart the ones i really like lol, check out my levels please ! :)

For the floating rocks i just used the "cow glitch" which no longer is in the game thanks to the update:( but luckily my level was uneffected:)

Thats is a very cool level, I love the boulders at the beginning that you swing off of and the scorpion shaped laser shooting enemy :o

Video was pretty nice... the background of stars is what made it, and the big open mass of negative space really gave a feeling of floating in the black abyss of space. Awesome in that aspect.

I think the factory section was a little bland with textures, but that solid look felt both industrial and natural with the surrounding asteroid granite look. The boss was very cool, but I think he should look a little cooler than the minions. I'm definitely a supporter of the multi-path approach too...

With the aliens and robots in the mix, you could easily incorporate some paintball action even if it's not quite a death ray... but if it doesn't feel right, leave it as is.

I'll check this out for sure, later today if I can get out of create mode for awhile heh... and I already know it's getting a heart.

Finally played it now and did both paths... the video doesn't do it justice and this really is a very beautiful level and fun level. There are a few nitpicks i would point out, like the stairs after the first conveyor belt being uneven, or the asymmetrical LED placement around there but it's absolutely irrelevant to the big picture. I think the crashed ship could look a little cooler too..

The starry night is amazing, the floating rocks, the rotating asteroids... fantastic. I like the enemy design alot, but what I like the most that I want to point out - CRACKS, BUMPS, UNEVEN EDGES etc. An environment like this would be rough terrain and marred with imperfections to make it look natural and coarse. There's nothing I hate more than plain blocks and circles, and it was nice to see the extent you went to to put detail and irregularity into the environment.

Pretty good work, man.

asymmetrical = not symmetrical

He's saying that you placed LEDs unevenly around the mining area. However, I think that he is mistaking your Creature Navigators as random LEDs.

This was a good level. I especially loved the asteroids, and the boss. The scorpion aliens looked cool, but were kind of frustrating. It was hard to dodge their lightning bolts! Overall, a good level. Hearted! :)

Hey Sonic, sorry that you had to wait so long but here it is:

Pros:
- Space. It's a nice theme, that isn't used too often, so that's a good thing ;D
- The final boss was pretty good. Nothing fancy, but it works :)
- Alternate paths.. Alternate paths are always a good thing. Adds some replay value.
- I like how you advertise the players to play the level again :P If you complete the upper path, it tells you to clear the nest. If you clear the nest, it tells you to find the ship :P

Cons:
- I didn't really like your scorpion enemies. The electrified shots were too unnanoucned, and often resulted in cheap deaths. (I know.. that's what enemies are supposed to do)
- The bridge that collapsed if you went to the alien's den, well.. it collapsed o.O If you're in space they shouldn't be able to fall down, right? XD
- You made all the floors with 3 layers of thickness. Try to change it a bit, this makes it look really empty and dull. Try adding some single layer pillars and such, to give you the experience that you're actually in a cave and such. Also, there's no music.
- You're conveyer belt could be a bit bigger. This way you could have the conveyes pieces spawn earlier, so you dont actually see them spawn, but arriving from a tube. Same goes for the disappearing of the rocks near the end, just make them go into a empty part with deadly gas preventing the player from entering.
- Wow.. that was a really short level? o.O

Overall: A decent level. It looks quite plain and doesn't have too much stuff to do.. But it was one of your first levels i believe, since i played it a looong time ago aswell.
