i made a Meat boy game with another creator (Kain 2097)
my part is all the logic/mecha. the meat boy control system (true meat boy gameplay), the inter-level data transfer between the five sub level and the main level (for pass main level intro and limit the player to one run only for every level), i made interface, others logic and LEVEL 3 (and tutoriel)

- Got stuck on the loading screen. (level links don't work all the time)
- Intro unskippable.
- Jumping is impossible near corners?

Everything else was great, stopped at level 4 but will replay for high score. :D
I have only played the demo of SMB, but enjoyed your level design. :)

I love super meat boy, and your level nails it. Forks, good touch.

No major recommendations, enjoyed it overall. I see it its going viral - well deserved. I need to get onto a popular 30 Underplayed games list. :)

Just curious.. (I will play your level by the way) but how do you transfer variables between levels?

encode binary value in the score
after that it's like you can pass some wires between levels
i mix binary value and decimal value for preserve the score game

decoding is between 0 and 1 second
encoding is 0.5s

Hm. Should've thought of that. Still, I think MM should add some kind of register tool. Being able to carry certain counter values over between levels would be very useful.

I liked the levels, but number 3 stood out as the best, even thought it had a pointless swirl bit close at the end of it, Without harzards that bit was just time consuming. Level 1 was very underwelming. No challenge there but a missed jump means doing bits of the level all over again. I'd rather die.

I wish the camera could be placed just a little more to the back, as it is sometimes hard to see if you jump to your death or to the next bit of the level. This is especially true of level 1.

I liked the challenge of level 4. Even though because the levels dont reset after a death you sometimes have to wait for saws to lign up again. I died lots, loving the challenge.

How about emitting red paint when Meat boy moves around? Also, could you make him slide faster as the longer he slides? Also when jumping up towards a wall I miss the slide upwards, but that might be annoying to program in.

Very fun to play and smart use of that score system!

Please be kind enough to play my level. I have been posting similar comments a lot as I am in great need of help. I have worked extremely hard on a level but have achieved very few views. Help! I will play your level in return if I have to. Just play and RATE my level.
