It is a little tricky, but people say they like the mechanics. Sorry about the audio, but whattya gonna do:cool:. The level is called parallax death jumpers. Play it and let me know what you think. Cool level search parallax. If you cant find it, add me, psn: nyahbingi

Not bad, but I'm lost on the parallax reference. I thought parallax referred to the illusion of slow movement the farther you back away from something, like looking out your car window on the highway and seeing buildings far away moving very slowly.

well I used parallax in the metaphorical sense, moreso meaning apparent change in the direction of an object, caused by a change in observational position that provides a new line of sight (According to wikipedia at least, lol)

I felt that the object in question was the checkpoint and the two planes of observation were both the conventional (reaching the goal) and the unusual (method of advancing to the goal). By seeing the checkpoint as a tool to advance to the goal, it provided a new line of sight in how to approach the problem. Thats why I say die to survive.

that's a cool level but i think it would be hard to understand for people who hadn't seen this vid :/

That probably explains why the tags on my level say 'complex' and 'frustrating':o

On my level description I do refer to this youtube link for walkthrough tips and help.
