Hey I had this great idea for LBP!

Level Themed costumes!!!

This would be a certain costume that might have a theme of the level your in that the creator sets up! so if yout in a construction themed world all the sackpeople in the level would be in builders costumes!! or if someone made a mario bros world people might be in mario costumes!!

It would automatically switch you into the levels costume when you start the level.... but would be intirely optional and would just be a fun choice.. you can keep your own costume to express your individuality if you want!!

and If you do choose to use the level costume it will go back to yout choice after the levels over!!!

please tell me what youthink of this idea and leave any criticism you want!!:)

I really think that this is a great idea. Because I think that if you've a costume that matches with the surroundings, that it's "complete". It finishes the whole picture

sounds good to me, lol ill put a box on my head like this guy :confused: and every new lvl ill slap a themed sticker onto the box

oh your sackperson just appears at the start of the level with the pre-set costume and it goes away when you leave the level

Exactly my point..

How do you know that you have the option to automatically put the preset costume on the Sackperson everytime he enters?

well theres probably a window or two before you get into a level you want to play so there would be a button with a check mark space that says (use pre-set costume)

I thought ideas were about making this kinda stuff up..... no one said there would be a button there but me...... its called an IDEA lol

Sorry to be a killjoy.

They said they can't read suggestions.. It's on the same page as that. If you send a suggestion to that email I guarantee you they won't pay attention :/

well maybe since the subject doesnt say its a suggestion they will read it and write me back. or maybe they read suggestions and just dont consider them...:(

Ah well. They probably wouldn't have replied anyway. I did something similar a while back (asking if its possible) but they're bound to read it...

Even if they dont allow it its not a big deal, I would prefer being unique, or dressing in my own style to the level instead of having a pre-set.

OMG! People keep coming with great ideas! That'd be cool. That probably won't be on the game when it's released, but that sounds cool enough to be in an update.

It also says the will take suggestions AFTER the game is released. So there will very likely be some big updates when the game is released. This is good enough to be included in an update, I dont' doubt it!

I was thinking the same thing but I was wondering if this is going to be possilbe. But if so it would be cool. But one thing is to offer a variety of costumes to start the level, sometime it can work to have the same as in the Killzone one it looks cool, but I don't want to play with three other people that look exactly like me. So giving variety is key too this. That is what is cool about the game already is that you have so many ways to dress your Sackboy character so providing the variety is important.
But I was totally thinking the same thing also, and also different weapons would be cool also. As the knight saving the princess level had a sword, so it wil be cool to add different types of weapons in the levels.
