You may want to post the LBP.me link. There are tons of FF 7 levels, and it might be easier to find.

Ok I added a link to the first post.

I played your level a couple of days ago and overall thought it was good. My favourite parts were the very opening when you see Aerith by the fireplace and when the camera swoops down towards the train - both were OMG moments.

There were some weaker areas, particularly the model of the train and the sparks coming from it, that I felt could be improved.

Does anyone know if you can upload photos on movie levels? You can take screenshots in the pause menu but how are you meant to upload them without opening your popit?

I do admit the train was oddly in different quality than the rest of the level. I havent played FF 7 in a while so i forgot what it was like. But the overhead train shot was really nostalgic, i thought i was playing FF 7 for a second lol

It might also be a good idea to post some pictures. It would go a long way in getting people to play your level. adding to queue

I would change the train part if I could but unfortunatel the thermo won't let me have a detailed Midgar and a detailed train. You just see it for a few seconds anyway so I thought it would be more important to make everything else look good.

I'll post a video in a few days. Already talked to someone about it.

Played this level today and the memories came flooding back. Wonderful emulation of the best FF ever, I have it on my PS3 hard drive and can verify the accuracy of the content of this level. Will keep playing as you release each installment, hearted and smiled.
If you have time maybe you could check this level, not a direct emulation masterpiece like yours, more a tribute:

Thx to all. I hope more people will watch this opening.

Sure I'll play it.

Hey Chrree,

I remade Balamb Garden from final fantasy 8. Unfortunatly its extremly overheated so only 1 player can enter. If you do take a visit let me know what you think and maybe give some ideas on what I can remove to make it so up to 4 players can join. It took me weeks to make it look nice. I was over all pleased with the out come. I just never get noticed in the comminity and I think its a level worth visiting more then once. Just look up my username on lbp 2. Hope to hear from you. ^,^ -Jinx

I managed to use my detailed train for this level. Hope you like it.

Its a shame this isnt getting more plays, and theres so much detail you can miss by just viewing it once. I guess people can just watch the video here though lol I have to play the stage again, im assuming the new train isnt shown in that video?

06-19-2011, 03:45 PM
Ya it's an old video without the detailed train.

06-19-2011, 06:03 PM
Nice, I'm a big fan of the FF series and I genuinely hope you keep up the good work :)

If you want to take screenshots of your movie for upload to the level, just temporarily edit it so that the cameras don't restrict popit, then change back.

I still have to take a look at this. Queuing it for later tonight. Looks absolutely amazing btw.

This looks very nice. ^^ I will certainly play it next time I'm on, even though I've seen entire thing in video, though will look better seeing it in game on HD tv. I also agree that the train looked a little odd compared with rest of detail, but it isn't a big deal. It still looks decent and everything else makes up for it. Deserves a heart.

Does anyone know if you can upload photos on movie levels? You can take screenshots in the pause menu but how are you meant to upload them without opening your popit?

You can upload photos from your pod and they will automatically upload to the level you took the photo in. ^_~

Thank you people! One important thing though. We badly need more people to help with our project. We need people for the music and for building the visuals otherwise we can't continue with this.

Thx and I already used a detailed train! :)

06-25-2011, 04:36 PM
You need to improve the music. There are some good parts in it, but some worse too... Overall this is madly well done...It looks great and it has that right FFVII feeling...Im really looking forward to some more!!!

06-27-2011, 03:12 PM
Did you play that level or did you watch the youtube video? The video has bad sound quality.

I agree that it would be really good if we could publish more but so far it doesn't look like we can publish much since no one wants to help and it's just too much work.

If only this level had as many plays as it had views, i tried making a promo poster with some of the costumes. But like i mentioned, Gimp is a terrible editor lol

I do agree we are gonna need some good music, since everything else is pretty accurate....

Wow that is a very nice poster you made! :)
