I would like to make a lvl with the theme: High Tech/Future
I don't know what the point of the level should be though, but I would like to make more than one level, so pretty much a series...

Any ideas on how I should start, any vehicles, building ideas?

I dont' know, but i think if you do put vehicles in your level make them top-down like if you are driving through the city.

Well I have a lot of ideas for this type of theme but I have been working on a level series for a few months with this theme so I can't give you those ideas, sorry. Good luck on this though.

Use a lot of shiny metal, and make good use of the hologram. Make flashy neon signs that just scream " Future city!" Use neon obviously too for that matter.

I decided I was doing a futuristic military test facility. It will be able to "test"
Amphibious: Is the vehicle able to drive on land and water?
Bridge Crossing Test: Is it light enough to cross bridges?
Materiel Handling Test Facility: Can it handle/carry objects effeciently
Road Test: Just to see if it drives well.
Tilt Table: Gets put on a tilt table to see how far it can tilt before rolling off.
Bomb Test: Can it widthstand bombs?
Fuel Lab: Just for fun :p

Here is how it will work (kinda)
Amphibious: You have to drive the vehicle on land, then water, then land again to test it
Bridge Crossing Test: While attempting to cross, the bridge will break and you will end up in a pit, and you must get out: platformer
Materiel: With a different vehicle, you have to stack boxes to activate a switch to continue
Road Test: Just drive through holes and over hills
Tilt table: Different vehicle gets put on table and you (with controllinator) tilt the platform until it rolls off and crashes into a wall, you must then find your way through the rumble
Bomb test: Get bomb while in a vehicle (you survive)
Fuel Lab: On your way to the finish, you just walk by a fuel lab

Any thoughts on this? Any other ideas or recommendations?


1) How do I make a vehicle float and drive??

2) How do I make a wall that crumbles in a certain way so you get a kinda platformer?
