Ok, So i am BRAND new to this type of stuff i want to make my own avatars and sigs. Is it easy for a beginner like me to pick this up?

and is this "GIMP" an easy site to use

any help is much appreciated

Hey even if you're a beginner it should be easy... Just search for tutorials and you'll learn really fast :)
