You have fallen down a hole into an Abandoned Mine... You need to find your way out taking on and conquering all challenges that get in your way! Can you do it?

This was a pretty fun and visually appealing level. I thought you had some good parts in it like the wall I had to climb while it was popping out. Overall I thought the difficulty was too easy except the timing part to turn on the jump pads. Man that part leaves no room for mistakes. All in all I would say it is worth at least 4 stars!

Although it feels somewhat the same as most platforming levels, there are some parts that stand out, plus your attention to detail with the visuals is a welcome sight.

Good Job!

Thank you! I also felt that I leaned too far towards visuals instead of gameplay. I Will make sure I prioritize gameplay in my future levels! :p

Yeah, the gameplay wasn't very original or amazing, it was average fun, but the art is A-MA-ZING! I agree with xiSiCx, some parts were too easy, some were great, but what really comes out is your talent at good graphics. Anyways, I could never build this so you deserve my respect.

Not sure if you're much into logic programming in LBP2, but I got a health meter toolkit which may help you.

Rated: :)

Positives:
-Liked the theme you put together with the skulls
-Gameplay was pretty good
-Platforming was kinda original
-Level was also fun

Negatives:
-The art was nice how you did it but think it needs little more detail some areas kinda need it. (minor)

Overall I enjoyed it good job...

The thermo filled up very fast which is why I had to leave some areas with less eye candy than others :( But I do see what you're saying :) I will try to keep my future levels consistent with the visuals :p

I thought your over all art and them choice was good, and you really kept it consistent, I'm never really a fan of having to manually swap 3 layers at a time, but other than that it was a fun level with good obstacles. I thought the sliding blocks was a fresh take on some other game ideas to.

I actually started the level almost a year ago now... But I made about 1/3 in and stopped. I have improved my creating skills quite a bit since then so I decided a few months ago to go and start making the level again. I had to go through what I had already done and make it look good with the visuals but I still continued with the 3 layer style. Looking at it in hein sight that was not only a poor gameplay choice, also took a hard hit on the thermo! :p

Overall I thought it was a nice level, took me back to the canyons from lbp1 and it sure looks cool with the nice lighting you implemented. The only problem I ran into is in your 2nd pic, I fell while climbing those 2 pillars and it took me a good 5 mins to find the reset sponge, to remedy this, maybe add a different colored light on it so it's more noticable to players? Good job dude and I'm looking forward to how this series endss :) f4f my jak lvl 2 please, link is in my sig

Yes, there is a sponge you can grab at the bottom to the left to reset.

Very sorry about that, I actually just fixed the level to make that more visible :p

Nicely done, fruitmanlolli! This level is a bandaid to heal our nostalgia for the good old Mines. It was so much fun those days, wasn't it. But this time Mines return to us in advanced, polished way with the great visuals and fun activity. I loved the level and I keep it in my <3 hearted to come back and play again. Thank you, it was fun. Great job!

I Will make sure I prioritize gameplay in my future levels!
It will definitely work out great, because with visuals you are good enough.

Looking forward to see more of your levels. :)

Nice level. It has a good set of visuals with sticker usage and polished materials that has a good mines theme. The platforming gameplay is fun thanks to layer-switching materials and timing run. There's a bug, though. On the pillars section, the glowing green switch didn't lower the pillars after they rose, so I have to restart the level. Good job on this platforming level.
VISUALS: 4.5/5
SOUND: 4.5/5
GAMEPLAY: 4/5
OVERALL: A yay

Played your level, both the move and non move paths.
-Gameplay was great and varied, and nothing broke, felt good and solid, like every level should.
-Move sections were more fun than the platforming, but thats just my opinion, and because the move lets me play it my way. (Still fun!)
-The visuals werent the best, but it more than makes up for it in lighthearted gameplay. This is also one of the first levels I've seen to implement both move and non move gameplay in one level. very innovative! :)

I would REALLY love to hear your opinion on my newest level, Vinewood Swamp. :) Links in my signature! Thanks, and sorry for the super late feedback!

Hi Fruitmnalolli, thought I'd find you here having played this level not too long ago.

Thought I'd let you know that I got stuck in your level. It became quite frustrating as the checkpoint was way back at the start of the obstacle. So I lost patience but I'll be back to give it another go as it doesn't mean it's a bad level.

Here I am stuck in this image, you may want to pacth that area up and stop the debris from moving:

I was impressed with your other level & I'll be back to play this one again.

Alrighty, i played the REAL level this time, lets see what I thought below, shall we? =)

-Visuals were top notch and felt really good, fit in with the level nicely, nothing to complain about.
-Gameplay was unique and varied. never felt like I was doing the same thing twice, which is a good thing in this case. I particularly liked the moving pillars section and the chain on a minecart section.
-Music was good, fit, nothing really to comment on here.
-Level length was medium and it felt just right. Kind of disappointed that I didn't get to play through a section encrusted with diamonds though ;)

FINAL VERDICT:
Gameplay: 5/5
Visuals: 4/5
Music: 3/5
Additional notes:

Loved the level, I'll be returning to check out grapple gorge soon :)
