View Full Version : Check out my "XP" desktop

All of this done using Stardock's ObjectDesktop suite. I was getting bored w/ looking at XP, so I decided to screw around with shells. Didn't want to use a transformation pack - I've used them before, and they're pretty dangerous. Stardock has a bunch of cool programs, most free, for desktop customization. First, I decided to try a Mac OS X style.

Then, I figured I'd try a Vista one.

I don't know what I'm gonna do next, but this is addicting.

I use XP modded to look like Vista, actually. I like Vista's visual style.

PS, my icons don't usually look like that, they are scaled down so you can see the wallpaper better. Also, my dock is on 'Hide'. By placing the cursor at the bottom of the screen, you can see the icons very easily.

stardock and "free" should never be associated, ever...

and I don't need to make mine look like Vista, I have vista lol (and I HATE IT, SCREW YOU M$!!!)

Okay, most was the wrong word. Yeah, some of the stuff is really expensive. But they do have a decent amount of shareware and freeware.
