Although I haven't reported anyone breaking the NDAs, I would be lying if I said I haven't watched any of the leaked Video on Youtube. From what I've seen so far, I can honestly say that I'm VERY impressed. Without breaking the NDAs, what are your experiences like with LBPVita? Do you see yourself focusing entirely on the Vita version or do you think you'll give equal love to both version?

So far I love it.

I have only every created on psp, even though I have a ps3 and have owned lbp since day one. The reason being that I seem to be more creative when I am outside. Weird, I know. So yeah, I know this will be my main lbp game now too.

The graphics are amazing, and all the lbp2 tools work great.

I can take or leave the touch controls. The levels made by the developers, the touch screen works pretty good, but some community levels that apply the touch tools are hit and miss. I doubt I will be using the touch features very much.

I believe when this game is finished and for sale it will be even better than lbp2.

I love that you can DL levels and play them anytime and without internet connection.

I love the corner editor, you can grab more than one point like in the psp version.

I love that there is no dark matter and uses static or dynamic, so much easier.

I love the way Sackboy controls. It like the perfect middle between psp an ps3. Psp was almost too tight, and ps3 was too loose. Vita, it is perfect.

what's the advantage of being able to pick more than one point with the corner editor? this has been mentioned before so it's not breaking the NDAs. how many points CAN you pick? I did notice that the jump mechanic looked 'slightly' different.

On psp everything is done with corner editing, you can't paint like on ps3 so sometimes grabbing more than one point to edit is faster than having to go back to every point.

You grab every point on the object, and move the entire object with the corner editor if you wanted.

I know I should give a better description, but I just woke up and need coffee. ;)

It's also super handy for moving object edges, say for butting the edge of a floor to a nearby wall. That was always a little cumbersome on the PS3 versions.

As to the topic at hand I would say I'm extremely happy with the beta. The thing that I'm most impressed with is that besides the new tools, the developers have gone through the existing LBP2 toolset and augmented many of them with little things that really add to the Create experience.

I'm enjoying the beta. Can't give details but I personally am enjoying it. I can see myself playing both versions equally as much as I am not always in my room at school to play LBP2. Now I can sit in the common room and be "Social" while building levels.

What I can say is that it's everything I had been hoping for with the game.

I'm really enjoying the beta right now. My biggest issue with it was forgetting that the Vita has two sticks and not one! Once I started playing like it was LBP2 and not LBP PSP, I've been having a great time with it.

Probably the best thing is that if you have an idea, you can just take the Vita out your pocket and start creating. It's a really cool thing to have an idea at the start of a bus ride, and have a working prototype by the time you get off. I know that the PSP version of LBP kinda had that - but it never felt quite right to me, as an avid PS3 player. Fortunately, though, LBPV feels completely right. It's just like taking LBP2 with you - except better because you can draw levels with your fingers and take pictures of cows :D

talking of drawing a level with your finger, can you control how thick or thin you draw? (I'm thinking sticker panel drawings here) and has anyone used a stylus to create? and while I'm at it, what's sound recording like? is it clearer that PSEye?

To provide further explanation, the corner editor is the same result you get from clicking and dragging your mouse on your desktop. It creates a square selector and any corner in that square will be selected. These corners then have the ability to be dragged or deleted.

Yep, you can choose thickness. You just have to do it before you start drawing. Not used a stylus yet, though. I will try at some point to see what it's like. Oh, and sound recording is good! I'd say recording is at least as good, perhaps better, than the PSEye.

Are the theck/thack coming back? Also are the extra layers(3D glitch) coming back?

This is a hard one to answer. My guess is... No. They were not intended to be features of lbp. Personally, I would like to see them gone. Even though it's added quite a bit to lbp and lbp2, theyre complicated to use for many people because the tools don't favor them.

As for the op, I was never really a fan of lbp psp because I felt by the time I started playing it I had already "been there done that" With the original lbp. But lbp vita is really incredible. I can see myself using it instead of lbp2.

Theck and thack are actually pretty easy. I'm a beginner creator and I love impletmenting them in my level! I never used the 3d glitch but in the levels with it were awesome! It'd be a shame to be gone:(

Without breaking the NDAs, what are your experiences like with LBPVita?I love it. Playing this game is like eating free pizza and winning the lottery while riding a unicorn.

Nothing really compares.

Do you see yourself focusing entirely on the Vita version or do you think you'll give equal love to both version?I doubt I'll be on LBP2 much... Some, yes, but the vast majority of my time will be spent with LBPV.

what's the advantage of being able to pick more than one point with the corner editor? That's sort of like asking what the advantage is of being able to use a keyboard or play a piano with more than one finger. :)

how many points CAN you pick?As many as you need. ;)
