Looking at the box office reports, I've noticed that Frankenweenie is having trouble making its budget back, so I wanted to start a topic and encourage people to go see it. It's a fun movie that's worth watching. If you're a fan of monster movies then you have another good reason to go because there are a lot of cool easter eggs for you to look out for.

Admittedly it's got some issues too, but with movies like Taken 2 making tons of money, I feel like good movies like Frankenweenie should make more money.

If you're interested, I've got a full review here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKXoDMWIFmg)

I got to see it early... Meh. Not the directors best work.

To be fair the bar for his best work is set pretty high, so even when it doesn't reach that it's still enjoyable.

I actually really liked it. I loved the character design and all of the different references to the old-school horror movies. :D

And, having seen the original short film, let me tell you that this was a CRAP-TON more entertaining than the live-action one. xP

Tim Burton's work has just become tired. I saw this today and at it's highest points it was okay.

I've had my eye on Frankenweenie for a while, having loved The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride. Haven't got around to seeing it yet though.

I didn't really expect it to do well. It's marketing was terrible.
