View Full Version : Activate logic on kart when hit with custom weapon?

Is there a way to activate a logic device on a kart when it gets hit by a custom weapon? I've already tried placing an impact sensor on the kart, but that didn't work.

did you add a counter set to one after the impact sensor so that the logic stays on after the impact? because the impact can be so brief it does not send a fill signal to the logic.

Just tried using a counter in that way and it didn't help. Although the logic in question shouldn't need a counter anyway; it's a selector choosing between two brains, with the impact sensor driving its cycle input.

Weapon blast sensors are what you use. It can even be used to activate when a weapon self-destructs. You can see an example in The pre-made ufg Lob bomb, it emits a Fire Selfweaponator when it lands (since it explodes) to give it a blast radius

Weapon blast sensors did the trick! To be more precise:

On the weapon:

A weapon blast sensor set to count a single self blast only driving a tag.

On the kart spawn point:

A tag sensor matching the tag on the weapon driving the custom logic.
